and trust me folks...I am not a big hitter. The AD is an absolutely wonderful cheap ball. I personally like higher end balls for their performance around the green. So value/performance wise, the AD is a great choice. Oh, it lasts pretty well..no less than other cheap balls.

I too am a big time player and fan of srixon balls, it's just sad that they there two premium balls the ur-x and hrx-333 shred as bad as they do. I have yet to be able to play and entire round with just one ball. Personally I've gone to back to one of my all time favorites the HBTour. I also feel that there low end balls the are awesome especially the soft feel.

For me the hrx-333 does do as advertise long off the driver with little spin, increased spin on irons, not butter soft or terrible hard off the putter but nice feel.

I love the UR-X ball they do tear up after a while, but I have got such good results from the ball, off the driver, irons , and putter. Its a great ball that everyone should try once. If money is not an issue then its one of the best balls out there IMO. And I have played them all trust me.

i think im gonna try the ad 333 instead of the callaway hx blue. All i've heard about the ad 333 are great things, plus its alot cheaper than most balls. Worth a shot, i hope i like it, and i hope they don't discontinue it (every time i find a ball i can work with, they quit making it)

I am a big fan of the HRX 333. I believe it performs the best off the driver and very well with the short irons. I have found the same durablilty problems with the cover, more so than the HRX. At first I thought it was the Zodia's, but it will shred off any club with decent spin.

My Srixon rep and I had dinner two nights ago and I brought it to his attention. He was quick to say that they are already in the process of putting a new more durable cover on the ball. It seems the president uses this ball and has experienced the same problems. I am anxious to see how quickly they can resolve this issue. I am looking forward the performance of this ball in a more durable package.

Pman71 sold me the HRX and the UR-X so that I could try each one. I much prefer the UR-X. The HRX was not a good putting ball for me. I would just blaze it by the hole. I feel for the money the UR-X is a better buy and it seems to hold up OK. Doesn't have the durability of a ProV1 though.

I have gone back to the Pro V1x for the feel. Nothing feels better IMO whether it is driver, irons or putter.

have'nt hit the hrx-333 but do want try them.. played the ad-333 and ur-x ball and must say they are very good balls. the ad-333 has to be one the longest balls out there BUT i could'nt stop her on thegreen like i need to. it would hit and release way too much.. the ur-x does have the stopping power i like and would match it up with the prov-1 ball for playability and control. srixon has a good stable of golf balls..
