I want a versitile shaft that has great soft feel but I can still hit full shots with. Help me out.

If the head is heavy go with this shaft, it is a great combo for touch and feel around the greens.

tei3rn
Like you, if got PX 6.5 shafts in my irons, but I've got regular Rifle 6.5 in my wedges. To me, they feel great.
Landy
NIPPON!! I have them in all my irons. AMAZING. Either Ari at Scratch Golf or Paul at Shreveport Golf can get them. Good luck!
Godfather1
From what I hear nippon will give you the best feel and if you want some added weight I would go with the 1050. Personally I use DG wedge flex and I think they feel terrible so I am considering the nippon.
Mikey
The Rifle Spinner shaft is pretty good shaft.

mp3j
I have RAC Blacks with Rifle Project X 6.5's in them, the feel is vastly improved over the stock shafts. The shafts were also SST pured before installation. Don;t think you would complain with this setup.

yogi
El-loco, :afro: Have you hit anything that has been soft stepped? Wedges use a 37 inch TT shaft and if you put in a 37.5 inch TT, it should soften up the feel and still give a nice penetrating ball flight like the great DG shafts always do. DG's are still tough to beat. Although I have no experience with Nippon shafts, my reading leeds me to believe that these are a little soft and may not deliver a ball flight to your liking. Are these similar to the Rifles? Anyone? . :-) Dude dont ditch the DG's, just soft step them! "The Kid" Your Putter is almost done. el_noonan
Hey G-money I just need the putter before the 10th as far as soft stepping goes I do not know what that means but whatever. my plan is to get a different shaft in each of the 3 new wedges I am getting then see what what I like and put that in the other 2. Damn I'm smart :-) Hey good luck with the old lady  Come play so golf with me in AZ this winter :beer2:
CLMelton
Rifle FCM stepped wedge shafts are, IMHO, the best shaft for what you are looking for. They stand up well to a full wedge swing and have great feeling for those half or quarter shots. They also feel great around the green for 15 yard and under pitches and chips. yogi
I think you should be in Senior flex anyway. Try some fiberglass shafts, they might be your ticket. :-) Why are you getting the blacks? Get some tours or even the new satins. The blacks just felt to crisp to me, oh yea i forgot, thats why you hit the rock flights!! :-D Lets play one of these days next week. We are going to andy's party in St.Cloud tomorrow night. Imight have to call you for a ride home. :beer2: :beer2: :beer2: Take care. Later, G
