Landy
I'd like to replace my 3 iron with a 21 or 22* driving iron. The X Blade Air Muscle is a consideration. So was the Taylor Made, but that only comes in 16 & 19*. Looking for something easy to hit. I play XBLade CBs. Love the 4 iron, but have trouble with the 3. Thank you
matt411
the titleist 503H comes out (retail) in september in multiple lofts
hornyjuan
I'm not too positive but i think the regular version (non-tp) of the RAC Driving iron comes in 22*. From the comments about the regular version it is actually easier to hit. PM Chris or maybe he'll chime in. The 19* is a bullet.
Breal
I hit the Titleist 503H today for a round and it was solid. I hit the ball anywhere I wanted it to its very solid and is a club to look at.
10-footer
Landy, I play the same irons as you. My 3 iron has been replaced by a Tour Rescue Mid 4fw. I also play a 2002 BB 2 iron. I have owned all of the TS Airmuscle clubs and do not think they are more forgiving than the X Blade CB 3 iron. Here are some suggestions: 2002 BB 2/3 iron: isn't that pretty but the easiest club to hit...in the world TM RAC TP Utility club: just received the #3 from Chris and find it very forgiving and long. Not much better looking than the BB 2/3 iron but less offset. Fourteen Hi: good looking club and easier to hit than the TS Air muscle
dadriver
You guys are recommending a TM Rescue to a Tourstage player? :surprize: How dare you? :smile1: May I recommend either the Tourstage 21* Club-X V021 Utility if you want a little more offset and Tungsten bottom weight to help get the ball up. Or, if you feel you don't need the offset then the Tourstage F-UT might be better. Either way, you will appreciate these TOURSTAGE clubs.
Landy
Wow, thanks for the input. What about the FOURTEEN 858?
dadriver
Wow, thanks for the input. What about the FOURTEEN 858? I tried the Syb in that spot...went back to the X-Club. I found that the driving irons hit lower than I want/need.

+TourSpecGolfer
On the Horizon, we have the Fourteen Type 1 coming out that looks very player, It was the same version Maru and Els used last year for a short period. I suggest the TM driving Iron cause its ball flight in S300 and how its the easiest to hit driving Iron I have ever laid my hands on. X-Club is good too, a handful still use them on the JPGA, usually older guys but I'm not sure if i consider it an Iron, it felt woodsy when i hit it, could it be a utility wood? :-D
ashryan8888
I would suggest TS fut 19* or 22*. Forget about driving irons. I think sometimes they are harder to hit and a 3 iron.
Landy
Thank you for the recommendations. I think a utility is the best option.
