  1. Hey dreamer, If its still available I'll take it. Thanks
  2. Let me know if you have this driver head please. Looking to see if it's a good fit for the slow fall/winter season. Aeration already started...can't believe summer is gone already. Thanks. Only looking for this head specifically. -J-
  3. Nice clubs! What would you say the difference is in the 2014 model?
  4. I've been thinking about getting a driver for the off season when I'm not playing nearly as much and I remember how Chris spoke of this version. Now that you've had the summer with this set (driver in particular), any new insight or feedback? It doesn't seem like too many members are gaming this. I was hoping to see more feedback from people as opposed to being a pioneer, lol.
  5. As a coffee snob I'm very particular with what I use in both machine and beans. All beans come from reviews based out of coffeereview.com each month. Subjective Flavor and profile decides it for me. I've tried these machines and they just don't cut it (For me). I wish they did. Don't get me wrong...I have a kuerig for certain guests and when in a hurry grind my 7-11 grams of beans and use a filter in it. Like golf I have just about every contraption for coffee. Espresso not so much ( Turkish coffee setup, aeropress, and a crappy breville that will make a good espresso after the 3rd attempt) Really espresso is such an art that I don't have time to get it perfect. If you like the taste from that machine...Great!!! I haven't found a machine yet that will knock the snob out of me from a nice professionally made espresso. For coffee, t'm sure I know much more about it than golf. 100% of the time I use Glass all the way down to the spoon. 75% of the time I use a french press because it's methodical, quick and easy. 20% I use a Cona vacuum because it is by far the best flavor (for me) but takes more time and care than the press. 5% of the time I use various chemex glass. Along with the Cona Vacuum I will also use a hario Nouveau 5. I prefer the Cona but Hario is just as tasty. For anyone that wants Outstanding coffee I would suggest one of those companies. Hario is Japanese I believe. Not sure where it is manufactured though. They did not sell these in the U.S. I had to get mine through a company in a South Africa. lol
  6. I wish it were that easy for me to change iron shafts. KBS T is the butter in my swing. It's like my wife...it just works. lol
  7. Grasping at a chance someone has a set of KBS Tour Black Pearls (taper) not being used. 4-P
  8. was hoping to see v.2012 but like my yammy 2009 some years are just hard to beat. How do these compare to the 2012? Send me a PM with desired price. Thanks.
  9. Have always played my yammy T 2009 or mizuno 53"s as backup sets particularly at the beginning of year. Ground is rock hard, morning temps still in the 20's F°. Continually hear about the VG3's and never really see them on BST so I hoping someone has a backup set of these so I can give them a try. Thanks
  10. Thanks guys. Hutchy, you've used both shafts? How would you differentiate them?
  11. Looking to try a different shaft in a Ryoma Maxima type G. Open to offers/options with low to mid kick...looking to create more of a draw. Stock stiff fades too much with my path/driver-head. Prefer Crazy Noir line (SR-S/6.7-7.4)…l
  12. Haven't seen a game in 3 weeks cause of work but that hasn't stopped me from looking at gear like this. Beautiful clubs and prices Hutchy!
  13. ...do you think the XL is geared toward a specific player? What was the kick like? I need to get a shaft for someone who is fairly new to the game.
  14. The zero looks absolutely amazing! Don't think I would be able to let it go for aesthetics alone. Must have been a hard decision.
  15. Excellent Pics. Paris should be on everyone's to do list atleast once! Preferably many more.
  16. That is a great Bday treat! Happy bday. One of the best looking Gold's I've seen on this site!
  17. I'd have to put myself in the same category akm. Working 12-14 hours a day and living in NYC doesn't really allow me to maintain too much consistency. I have at least a 6 month season and tend to shoot in the low to mid 90's. I play a lot at Bethpage and Willow Creek on Long Island, and then some at Woodloch Springs and Concord Monster in NY, Not a great score…but still let's me enjoy the day without throwing my clubs, lol. I agree with keeping consistency between the irons and wedges and this is probably the way I would go especially with my everyday wedges. I wanted to make sure I wasn't going to put too much extra spin on a wedge head that is already rated as having a good amount of spin as stated by some of the forum members and I guess I also wanted to give some respect to a quality wedge head by giving it a nicer shaft with similar specs. Maybe that's just as ridiculous as it sounds. lol. but I do have respect for jdm gear and promote it to everyone that asks around here.
  18. Thanks guys, I've heard and read about using longer iron shafts. Did you tip it or go up in flex? 7 Iron would be too much loss of control from what it is now for me. I might try an 8 or 9 iron X. Question is would be too much for the Toyoshima wedges?
  19. With all the wedge talk recently I'm hoping to get some advice on shafts. I've used many different brands for my drivers, Fairways and hybrids. Current favorites are the Crazy Noir's and FW-80's. I'd like to get an expanded more boutique quality experience with my wedges. KBS Tour has always been shaft of choice for my irons and wedges...simply because it works. Spinner's are right there as well when talking wedges. With my recent Crazy Toyoshima purchase I was hoping to install a shaft that would present these heads better both in style and performance. Wedge Hx:I have tried the 2012 vokey cold forged, s-yard bolds, Epon 210's, GS GT-SW, several Miura's and most U.S. cleveland's and vokey's for those rocky beaches. When there is a demand for more precision I always fall back to the Miura Wedges. I just click with those. Current favorite Grinds on the Miura's are Y, K. If anything I would be looking for more spin. A bit difficult with my path. I have a steep path I'm working on and my divots are shallow to haircut thin. You guys have a lot more experience with shafts changes and some of the best quality shafts so hopefully you can help or maybe turn this into a wedge shaft review. Thnx
  20. Epon irons for me!!! I started with Mizuno's way back. Few years ago, when I started again, I bought another pair of Mizuno (MP-53)but was on a search for something better and tried every club I got my hands on, 98% U.S. unfortunately because none of them feel like the world these guys introduced me to. After researching and finding TSG and listening to the wealth of great information it brought me to a world of golf and the technology of it that I never thought of. Great people giving great info. Find a fitter with JDM gear so you can match a shaft to your swing. No US iron has come close to feeling like the epon's FOR ME. Still searching for a driver that gives me the same feeling.
  21. Hey Dreamer, nice club face. Any idea if the face is square or open?
  22. ...and that's just the Betti's! I'm gonna talk with the folks at the psychiatric association to see if we can get a new classification and mental health compensation. Excellent Collection though!
  23. Very nice! Can you see the red at address?
