  1. Since football season has officially started....That's what overrated MI gets! They did the same thing last year and they were fortunate that they didn't lose as many as they'll lose this year. Congrats to GT and GA!
  2. This discussion has been quite informative to say the least. I've chosen not to do research on what is the best iron head produced as my head will start to hurt and in the end, I probably can't afford it anyway. Even if the best head fell into my lap, my game still wouldn't be TOUR worthy. Please tell me this, do forged blades offer more performance than cavity backs? Or the fact that they do minimal?
  3. I played a F7 in a FT-3 head. It had a nice feel as it didn't even feel like I was hitting an extra stiff. However, it didn't have a low launch (for me). My 757 was a little lower than it, and they both seemed to spin about the same. I've heard good things about the Whiteboard and would think that it would be lower than both
  4. I started with the CWR Rifles, which always felt unfeeling and unpredictable. I then switched to the X100 which were worlds better, so I thought. At the same time, I put a Project X in a 2 iron to test it out. I liked it, but not enough to replace the x100. It was a little unfeeling but very controllable and predictable. In comes the Black Gold's--MAN! Very predictable, controllable with the kick of the X100. I feel as though it's made for both hitters and swingers. I consider myself a hitter even though I've become a less aggressive hitter as of late. I'm still able to hit a high shot as my normal flight but when I go after it, I get that piercing flight that I need. It is a must try shaft!
  5. I too have tried an Ozik F7m X in a FT-3. I had trouble controlling it and it never had the super distance that was claimed to it. The thing it did have was that super smooth feeling. I never understood the feeling (and really don't care for it) til I hit the Ozik. It feels as if you're hitting a ladies shaft but it did not balloon or have a super high ball flight. I finally got used to the feeling but was tired of not knowing where my ball was going to end up. I then switched to the Axis. The shaft felt better, was straighter, and I knew where it was going. However, I felt as if I was giving away 5-10 yards on every hole. (I know this because I was usually in front of my playing partner and now I found my self behind him, but in the fairway.) I never looked at it, but the shaft may have been a tad shorter by an inch or so. Just switched to a Nike SQ Tour with a 757 (which has always been the best shaft for me). I think I need a higher launching or a more spinning shaft for this head, as I have again, lost distance
  6. That's not necessarily true. Look at Honda and Hyundai. They started off making vehicles that weren't that good. Look at them now. The knowledge of the golfing public is still changing. I remember when none of my friends knew about Fujikura. How many do you think know about Mamiya, Ozik, Diamana (red), Grafalloy Axis, Aldila VS, and a ton of others? And those are just shafts! The kicker is that when they see me play some of these things, they think that's why I beat them! There are a ton of golfers lacking in knowledge of product and what really matters. If these two ever catch up with each other, watch out. But don't worry, cause it'll never happen.....
  7. What are the specs for the Diamana Stinger? Sounds nice!
  8. They do hold their value when they haven't been released retail yet..... Fusion 415 for example......

  10. Maru- had a light blue, almost greenish shaft in the driver i saw him hit. It said Tour AD on it i think. This is a Graphite Design shaft. Can TourSpec get one?
  11. Esp if you can find a stand bag like the PRGR bag that says Callaway on it! :callaway:
  12. I don't have boxes or serial numbers......mines a prototype
