new EPON BLADES coming - June 23 release 500 sets pic inside

Recommended Posts

They look a lttle odd without the usual Epon branding but no doubt will feel amazing.

I want to know what else is coming down the pipeline?

For those that know, spill the beans pretty please...

Any one know the head size compair to Miura blade?

they look to be the exact same size as the af-tour which puts them a size larger than miura tb's.

I've barely looked at another iron since bagging the AF-Tour (save for a 302 4-iron) but these new blades look interesting to me.

I'm thinking of trying a different iron shaft (NS Modus 3) but don't want to mess with my gamers.......hey - I just justified the purchase.......well done me!

haha same here andrew! i am in heaven with my 302s and really cant justify getting another set but these blades

just look so out of this world and DIFFERENT. im actually more intrigued than curious. if i do get them il be shafting

em with nippon prototype DP shafts.

Carlo, what's the "DP" dare I ask!

dual purpose. sort of like a flighted shaft and dgs all in one but with the

characteristic nspro feel.

cant really improve on the modus though.

Personal blade will have a narrower sole compared to the Aftour

to impart more spin for attacking pin. not focused on distance but

accuracy.

also there will a tad more offset compared to the aftours. i spoke to

several guys that have hit them and they say they are as forgiving

as the aftours.

originally supposed to be for endo staff and VIPs but the design was so

beautiful that they had many requests to produce this design and limited

it to 500 sets only.

damn...more offset is the deal breaker for me :(

Beautiful iron. Really is like a work of art.

I would not say there is a lot of offset, it is still very minimal, but its definitely a much smaller head than the AF-Tour.

I will post my impressions in the blog today and it will be in the pro shop but as always you must contact us to order Epon.

I just finished taking pictures so here is a preliminary shot. (^_^)

The lighting in this shot I just took really shows how thick the blade, and it does look like a blade as in sword, portion of the muscle is.

The more I look at it the more I like it.

SAME HERE! T from that angle it looks quite chunky,

can you take a pic of the muscle? do you have an aftour head

to compare it to? thanks
