BNTM from EPON. Simply not using these, if i go EPON i go my muscle back af tours. shimada 3001 stiff constant weight shafts, keep the ball from ballooning for a lighter weight shaft. gripmaster leather grips in mint cond. cond is excellent. I will mention my build idea ........ BY EPON........ i chose the shimada bec i wanted a daily driver to keep the ball on a flat arc with a mid high peek that rolls over not sets , spins and drops like modus 130s do . they give me about 1/2 club longer distance . + they do NOT get affected by wind and are ARROW straight flight. not very laterally manouverable. staright daily drivers, that what these are. shipped, tracked, insured by EMS japan post ONLY > from JAPAN shipping incl . $1250

  6. For sure Stew! I still have a 24 deg in my regular rotation. I did swap the shaft out for a Tensei 1K Pro Hyb 90g. This thing is so consistent with high ball flight!!

GOOD. its stying here , not as tight as the stinger version BUT better feel . a bit more lively in the fingers. wonderfull sound. the aliselei in all heads had a dsitinct feel/sound. very enjoyable to play . sites among the top of my driver list. very playable ,slightly workable thru the air if required , more to so than the boron ver. excellent driver.

Stuck a shimada steel fw shaft in both a toursatge / RC 7w for a bit of weight. SUPERB!!!!!!!!! no ballooning , really smooth transition. ,can feel the club at all times. mid high fligh lands super soft. can move it just a wee bit. NOTHING not too like about this as a set up. plays A as good as anyone cud want, versatility of the 7w can not be understated. that club is getting a ton of aitime nowadays
  13. god no... how many years on is rhis and.. ImStill playing the diamana stinger in the same heads from yamaha syard callway tour, tourstage, kamui pro. i rhink i have 11 drivers now with the stinger. i love the way it performs . it looses nothing to anything newer ive tried. Looks better. feels unreal. doesnt warp bemd or stray. i honestly dont know if i can play another shaft . 2009>2025 nope , this one still wins for me.
  14. plus..less off set just looks so much better!
  15. Yeah, that PRGR test was pretty interesting especially how more offset led to lower ball flight. From a physics and engineering standpoint, it actually makes sense. When you add offset, the head's center of gravity sits farther behind the shaft. That promotes a bit more shaft lean at impact, which reduces dynamic loft and results in a lower launch. It also changes how the face rotates — the more offset, the slower the face closes, which can make it easier for some players to square it up, especially if their hands trail a bit through impact. Less offset, on the other hand, puts the CG more forward, which increases launch and makes the club more responsive — or “sensitive to timing,” as they say. But like you mentioned, that part really just comes down to getting used to it. More Offset = Lower launch, less spin, possibly tighter dispersion for some, easier to square for players with an out-to-in path or slower hands. Less Offset = Higher launch, higher peak height, more feedback on timing, preferred by better players who want to shape shots and keep face control front and center. So yeah, the lower flight from added offset isn’t just anecdotal — there’s a real mechanical reason behind it.
  16. The current biting spin from Bridgestone is really good. I play these now. not only are they made by Endo but they are just ever so slightly oversized which my game totally needs.
  17. Ya know Miura is forged at Sasaki now. Yamaha's latest single piece forged is made at Endo. Thanks for posting Noboru! Just got back from Japan, gained 15lbs :)
  18. links........... my fave 5 letters in a row.
  19. Thanks for posting ...miura $$$
  20. Nob, good to see you back!!! :)
  21. RYOMA d1 10.5* - diamana ali islei 63s 44.5 x 310g tipped this an inch and BOY did that make a change to its character!!! usually a pretty friendly soft shaft for anyone under 105mph the tip work livened this up considerably. Played it a typhoon style rain with a nice gripmaster leather on it as a mini driver of sorts and it was SUPERB, so much so i left the big dog same head with a TOUR AD PT6x in the bag for most of the round and will rethink that build , bec htis one, blew it to smithereeeeeeeeeeens. Its job is to be a part of my shorter , lower launch , punchy fariway finders i can use on links. i dont really look for more distance over acccuracy these days. iprefer a club i can hit a fariways with at a decent enough distacne that wont get lost OB, most courses i play , the penatly off tee is considerable vs the errors eslewhere so gaining 15-20yards is moot ill take what i have over looking for Dechambeau esque blasts ,hence the shorter length, stiffer builds. didnt take long to get this wired, i was pulling it the first few drives then i realied i cud relax with it a bit aim a bit more right and got some faboulous mini draws more than a dedcent way out there with it. head shape lends itself to be aimed /hit dead straight. never really been a driver to ge terribly funky with its a point shoot. this build suits it superbly. adjust ball flight thru tee height. higher tee , draw higher , lower tee piercinfg fades. mid tee and its lower straight. 10.5* gives me a lot more confidece that the 9.5 does. its not a high ball hitter at the best of times. My links course at home has its name ALL over it., will be tough not to take this out, every round and when its windy , im not sure if il even look at another after the way it payed. best iteration of this head ive built.

fond some info about the PRGR 801 attached and a comparison with old Mizuno T-Zoid which are the parents of MX23 I ever played. https://ameblo.jp/asotoh/image-12657712453-14898821623.html Still missing some specs, how would you compare or if own them send a pic of those you mentioned Miura CB3001 with the PRGR Data 801 something modern CB's like the Tourstage or B'stone I alternate As said, but noted need more forgiveness on the long irons, can a good price on 2nd hand market for them cheers

yea i rem that being the case with some /one of thier irons , but i cant rem which ones to be specific. the ones i prefed more were the miura cb3001s which are strikingly simialr but with more wokability, well relatively. they are better, ive still got those u can see the similarites . ........................... i had prob my best ever ball striking round with those one chilly winters day , scooped the pool, playing nasau. kept me wine for months!

Thanks @supo bet being from that era have weaker lofts for today's standard even on players iron, right? i.e. P at 47°-48° Moving the ball with a 4, 5 iron is not my aim. Ever read this model was a collaboration with Miura rather than Endo, is that true? So in terms of blade length will be about that, 82 mm toe to heel, or even larger? What about sole width, somewhere larger than a CB? Thanks again

well. ive had these in play for 20+ yrs, definitley one of the easiest sets of clubs to hit a bal lwith ever. wont make it go in any direction. just " out that way " they have a sharper leading edge than most GI irons which i prefer. good feel, a little thin tho if your goal is to hit the ball then these will work well
  29. Hiya, new comer here from Aberdeen, Scotland. Being following TSG for a while but unable to singing up. Seems akll fine now and facny to learn more about the JDM brands and gear Cheers! Al
