  1. If you're a big enough idiot to fall for s**t like that, it's your own fault. Do some research before you buy!
  2. I guess I did, didn't I. All, around..... Titleist has it all covered.
  3. I'd say for feel of irons, Miura, Mizuno and Epon are all equal. They all feel fantastic..... slightly differences, just depends on what you like. Putter - the new Epon putter feels very unique and nice...... the gold's is softer but lacks the feel I like..... build quality and finish is second to none with the Gold's though. However, my gamer...... Bettinardi MC-2, Driver - Had an old epon technica - Great feel..... but, the adams 9015/6D is longer and feels as close to that as any driver i've ever hit. Hybrid - Adams Wedges - Vokey/Epon/Fourteen 3 - Wood - Still have my Epon technity - not the easiest club to hit.... especially off short stuff but when you get it right, it feels amazing, and the ball flies..... low penetrating bombs. So Irons - Miura/Mizuno/Epon Driver - Adams (I know.... it feels so wrong to say on a exotic site like this) 3-Wood - Epon Hybrid - Adams (to be fair, never tried a japanese hybrid) Wedges - Vokey's - easier to hit but Epon spin's insanely, to say the least Putter - Bettinardi makes the best feeling putters in the world in my opinion. Shaft - Ha! That's like picking a favorite song.

    Epon 2010 Staff Bag!! :tsg_smiley_gun:
  5. I'm interested as well. How do they compare to Epon/Miura/Mizuno ,etc in terms of feel, etc? Very interested.
  6. Traditional lofts.
  7. I should be getting my Epon putter this week. I also have a gold's as well as a few top level bettinardi's and camerons and a G-Gield. I'll make sure to give my thoughts/review.
  8. Nice! Ya man, i couldn't be happier with every aspect of these. Far better than I even anticipated. I think you ought to give them a try. It's hard not to hit the ball well with these. Weather it's pured or a little thin.... it's going a long ways and straight as an arrow. Amazing iron.
  9. For the record, the Taylormade Burner Forged Irons are the best overall irons i've ever played. I bought a set about a month ago and have now played 7 rounds with them. Enough for me to conclude they are a combination of the best feeling, forgiving, looking and performing irons i've ever used and i've used A LOT of different irons. They don't feel like a pure muscle back forged iron........ they don't have that same feeling of density when struck, but they're super soft, they're super forgiving no matter where on the face you strike the ball and they're very long. They also look fantastic. They can worked left and right but they will absolutely hit everything straight if that's the intention. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend these. Suburb iron. And I don't even particularly like Taylormade. Any Questions, please ask.
  10. What does Rockwell B-Scale 80 mean? Weird.
  11. Hey Chris. Is this a new model? Are there going to be any other models put into production in the next little while? How much for this guy?
  12. Cool, i'll check it out. Thanks.
  13. Preferably in North America Thanks!

No idea about the AF-Tour..... never seen one. Heard the Pro Preference blade is supposed to be unreal as well.

I've had the miura baby blades and I now have the mb-5003. The Mb-5003 is a better iron. Better feeling for sure. More solid, too. Don't bother with the baby blade man.
  16. Right on, thanks for the help iDrive.
  17. Thanks. So what is the difference in terms of feel, playability between the af301's and the technitys/type J's? Also, any truth to the claim that the AF 301's are softer feeling than the Af Tours?
  18. That's it...... they look identical. I have the Techinca "tour Spec" model (not sure what that means) and like them..... just curious what the differences are between them and the AF-302s. Thanks guys.
  19. Never heard of them. Not about to buy them, but curious none the less. Any know?

    How much are you asking?
  21. Thanks for the help. Nothing like a question being answered by a question. No, i don't believe so. Yes, same premium zone insert I believe.
  22. I have a premium zone #2 i think. I want to reshaft it. Can someone please tell me the hosel size. Greatly appreciated.
  23. Son of a B that thing is nice. Love the chrome look sole and teflon.

I'm not sure how much of an impact, grip style, grip width, and shaft choice have on the feel of an iron but if possible, rank these irons in terms of best feel. I'm curious. I think i've narrowed down the "best of the best". Miura Mb-5003 or Miuraism (whatever feels best of the two) Epon AF Tours Mizuno MP 37 (or another model if there's one that feels better) Kyoei Zestaim Pro Preference blades.
  25. What finish feels best? Chrome or black?
