  1. So Chris, when do you expect these 09 goodies to be announced?? Any new wedges coming out for 09?
  2. Good to know. Do the different finishes make a difference to spin or feel? Which finish do you recommend?? Thanks man.
  3. Thanks for the input. Not sure if you're familiar with the old Epon Technity wedge but that thin spun the ball a ton! Even if these new Epons don't spin it as much as the new JDM Vokeys, but more than the old Technity, i'll be more than impressed. I would assume Epon's feel is slightly nicer than the Vokey's.....
  4. Forgot to ask, as well, is there anything coming down the pipe that looks to be a superb wedge from Epon or any of the always good wedge manufactures?
  5. Cool, how's the feel on the JDM TVD's compared to the Epons? I have the old Epon wedges. The feel of the X was outstanding, the only spin decent. The Technity spun it a ton but didn't feel as nice as the X. Where would you say the JDM TVD's stand when compared to the Epons? Thanks for the help!
  6. Vokey JDM more so than the Epon line? I'd love the Gold's but the price, at $500 a pop, is just outrageous in my opinion. Plus they only come in 52 and 58 degree lofts. And, ya, no doubt, i'll have to carry a few hundred extra balls! Haha.
  7. Hey guys, haven't been posting on here in almost a year. I've been reading a lot about the golf swing, as well as practicing a fair amount. Went from a two plane to a one plane guy. Anyway, just wondering, what wedge out there do you guys feel produces the most spin..... period. I've heard Epon, i've heard Gold's Factory, and a bunch of others. Thoughts please! Cheers.

When's this son of a gun going to be available?
  10. That thing is ridiculous. I find i don't need any wedge but that and PW. It's disgustingly good. Doesn't feel quite as nice as the Epon X wedge but the spin is far superior to anything i've ever tried. U almost don't have to account for roll with this club. Seriously. As long as u hit it square.

If anyone can get them. I'll gladly buy a set or two! Please PM me.
  12. I'd love to travel to the middle east more often. Those tees are wild! Awesome.
  13. I think more interestingly is what in the hell tee is he using!?
  14. Check this out: http://www.vega-golf.com/daf-driver.html Anyone familiar, hear anything?

Thanks for the reply. Ya, i leaning toward that or the Matrix F7M2 LTD. I have a GD UT hybrid shaft and it's the smoothest shaft i've ever hit i would say. The only reason i might go with the matrix is because of it's ultra low spin/launch and XX stiff option. That's what i have major problems with. especially with head winds. Clearly a swing issue, but i'll take all the help i can get.

Hey guys. I'm looking for a Callaway Ft-5 LCG (if anyone knows where i can get a real one. Not an apparently fake one from BSG - READ THIS - http://bigstealergolf.blogspot.com/ please let me know). ANYWAY. I'm looking to buy a shaft for it once i get it. I need a super low spinning shaft for a very hard swinger. Out of the following, which would you guys recommend? Mitsubishi Diamana Whiteboard Xflex. Matrix F7M2 LTD (XX stiff) Graphite Design Tour AD P9003 (X stiff) Fujikura Rombax XD400 (XXXstiff flex) Axiv V (X-stiff) Crazy shaft - (I know nothing about these) (X Stiff) Something else i don't know about? Please give me you feedback guys. I'd really appreciate it. Also, if there's a driver head i don't know about out there that's better at cutting back spin than the Callaway Ft-5 LCG, please let me know. Thanks.
  17. what kind of insert is this?
  18. Taylormade makes great stuff, no doubt but i think they're styling is, well, ugly. Just my two cents. Agree? Disagree?
  19. Yep. I have those in my set of fusions. Really nice shafts. Also have Tour Concepts. I like both of them a lot. Neither of them bring the ball flight down however.
  20. Mine are X-stiff. They're stiff but they feel fine. Just suited for a strong(ish) swinger. If your driver speed is 110/115 i'm sure they'd be fine for you. If you're worried perhaps see if you get them, what's it called.....hard stepped or something? A go between stiff and X-stiff. They definitely bring the trajectory down more than any shaft i've tried.
  21. I had the 1050's on my epon type j's and replaced them with super peening blue's. For me, the blue's are a lot better because i'm a very high ball hitter and they bring the trajectory down noticeably! Both are very smooth, the blue's obviously being stiffer and heavier. If you're a harder swinger with high trajectory i'd recommend the peening blue's for sure. any other questions just ask.
  22. My mistake. Clearly you can click off options. I guess my question now is, how do u go about choosing different colors for personal touches (logos, symbols, dragons, etc etc etc)?
  23. I don't usually think of myself as a particularly dumb individual but there are certain times that come about where i have to ask myself, "am i missing something here" ................this is one of those times. I've wanted to purchase a Gold's Factory Putter for a while now but have been reluctant to order a custom made one because, to be honest, i've had no luck with order forms and i'm basically just not sure how it works. I know when you click on Gold's Factory putters a description comes up with a billion cool options, but what are you supposed to do from there? There's nothing you can check off or anything like that and what as far as personal custom options (initials, symbols, etc), how do you go about doing that. I also noticed that the 3 different available finishes are called different things at different points in the page of options. Clarification please! Any help would be really appreciated. Maybe i'm the only one who needs some guidance here. But then again, maybe not. Thanks.

Just checking out Muria irons. What's the difference between the MB 2003's and the SB Custom forged , double the price line? If the 5003's are supposed to be one of the finest irons ever, curious as to why they're half the price of the SB line? Not criticizing, just curious. Help me out please. Thanks guys. Oh ya, and what is Muira and what is Muiraism? I don't get it. Thanks.
