The personals feel more forgiving to me.. But as you said I guess I myself am in the honeymoon stage or hitting it better. I guess the fact that those super good feeling pure shots have a way of clouding judgement. C how are your distances? Did you loose a club? I'm lagging in my short irons. Changing shafts to the monacos

Brian, I am gaming it! It's from o7/08 but its vastly superior to anything I have gained! Had the ping k15, ryoma f3 16 loft, egg spoon 17, RC trc, RC Bbd type h etc etc this One beats everything in terms of versatility , ease of use and forgiveness. It may not be the longest but its the easiest to use. I can hit it off the rough and on tight lies. Heavy punchy compact head does the trick of hammering out of most lies. And on my bad shot Where I take divots on my woods I'm still able to get away with it. I love this club and since it's 17deg I no longer have a 5w and have more space jn the bag to play around with. Using a dj7 that's about as friendly and higher launching as you can get. Although eyeing an sf7x To keep the boredom at bay. Never ends!

what is so great about them? are these nippons? -
sure! its fun though to do your own set. its not as hard as you think. you can do it! yeah i thought about it and got tempted into having our builder egay do it with his tools but decided to do it myself (no one to blame) and also do it by hand instead as i would have more control over what i was doing. fingers are very tactile and you do really sense every passing stroke as you strip the chrome away.

Crazy Tourspecgolf Shaft Collaboration 1 and 2
Spoon replied to gocchin's topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
guys the shaft doesnt have to be in japanese. something as simple as TSG-V1 is clean and ok in my book with all the names in japanese and their divine meanings is a bit tacky for my tastes. v2 collaboration is simply MOFO. that i like! -
tai why dint you use them? seems like a waste of good clubs!

yeah i saw what you did with your aftour. i think the aftour is the easiest to do. the personals are not too far behind. will be easier for you with the dremmel. no i did not see a need to satinize the heel and toe area in the face. they already had a brushed sort of look so left it alone. edit: J, actually looked at my aftours, and just realized the whole club is chrone with the exception of the swoosh and face (excluding heel and toe which are chrome) , with the aftours youd have to get the hosel etc etc which are difficult to get even due to the extremely curved surfaces. the Personals will be a much, much, much easier job. yes i said that 3x. you will only be satinizing the 1st and 3rd tier of the muscle. that will be so easy with the dremmel.
