  1. A little narrower sole than the 2010's. Cleaner cavity. Super forgiving. I don't know what Titleist does with their forgings but they stay in great shape
  2. I had 2010 VG3's for 5 years. Bought these to replace them. Played them less than 10 rounds as I bought the 716 T-MB's. Keeping the 716 MB's. I don't personally do well having multiple sets of irons, so I am selling these. I really liked the 2014 model just getting on with the 716 MB's too well to go back. 4-PW with recoil 110. D2 swing weight 38.25 5 iron (.25 over standard) Lofts are 2* weak 46 PW. $725 No Trades, price includes shipping Conus. $50 elsewhere. email works best. [email protected] Thanks TSG!
  3. I was wondering the same thing. The fuji Evo is like $300. I really like the Speeder Evo BTW>
  4. Egg is also good for retrieving balls out of water hazards. Multi purpose all around great club.
  5. That is the Emperor... I think that is the one I sold you :)
  6. Can I see a pic of the OLDMAN TOP VIEW? Thanks Tim.

    I think I count 13 clubs?
  10. Gotta ask how much.... They look very nice. Playing VG3 716MB right now....

have a 16 in stiff....? Used 1 round.
  12. Kuros Staying in the bag?
  13. I put Recoils in them. Had Modus X flex in them which were surprisingly smooth. I probably could get along with Modus 3 Stiff
  14. yourpressed will be able to chime in in a couple of days. He plays a set of Kuros this week and has had a set of the T-MB's
  15. I can say the T-MB is very forgiving. Length is about the same as the 2014 VG3 which is long as well. A little more penetrating ball flight with the MB's. Both are the same length and the lofts are the same and identical shafts.
  16. I had a set exactly like this --played them a year. H is for heavy head. Forgiving and great Miura feel. Super Price in this shape....
  17. I played a super hyten fairway years ago. Might have been my first Japanese club. Tried that and Srixon (before they were here mainstream) Probably close to 15 years ago. That fairway at the time was the longest I had hit. I think they were onto the COR early. I also tried one of their early utilities and it too was long but I hooked the hell out of it. They were good quality at the time.

Trackman outdoors has been the best for me to test heads and shafts. I know it is a difficult thing to find. Did they have Trackman at the Honma Demo Day? I tried multiple combos against a driver I have in the bag that I liked recently and found a combo that I hit longer with lower spin and better trajectory (tad flatter). Plus outdoors I could see the flight differences and then see the spin rate differences. Picked up 12 yards which is a lot for a person in the back nine of life!
  19. Awesome flatstick Tim. Handmade and impossible to find as Yamada-san is not doing that style anymore. Perfect shape. I rotate in the 85029 which is the same stick.
  20. XV is an easy to use fairway. Players look good feel. Not difficult to launch and forgiving. Other than looks I wouldn't classify it as a players FWY.
