The Bridgestone Rx-1 was super sweet felt like persimmon. At 315 cc it was outstanding and one of the best for feel and performance. I really like Nippon shafts for one. I feel they do play about a half flex softer, but they are so smooth that it does not make a huge difference you do not get the balloon or hook normally with a too soft shaft. I have the 1150 Tour in Didier Li's old I-404 Srixon's. They are a great combo. I hit a high ball with any shaft. These, combined with the head, tended to smooth out the trajectory. Still high with all clubs...I hit all my irons on a pretty identical trajectory...I can bring it down. I have also hit the 6.0 rifles. These play between the 5.5 and 6.0 in my opinion. As with all Nippon's they favor a swinger ( a smoother tempo, think Els) vs. a hitter. Nothing to do with swing speed, but more how you go after the ball. My 2 cents worth. BTW Didier (Aka Taipan Li) the Srixon's are staying.... the dilemna now is which irons to sell....the 2005 RAC CB TP's with DG S300 or the MR-23 US Spec with the S200's.... Opinions welcomed. Stevo
