About time
Hey Doc, I played asme really good public and private courses in the Seattle area back in 1995. Semiahmoo, Avalon, Loomis trail (which was the private and Japaneese owned if I recall. It was amazing with very few members and very few rounds played. Greens were rolling 12 the few times I played it.) Sahalee was fantastic too. It's been a few years since I've been back to Seattle but next time I'm bringing my sticks!

Please start a TSG Airbnb for us. Include JDM company and entry to some private clubs. That would be awesome!

That would be wise. Anyone have a spare house in LaJolla? I'd be happy to look after it for a few years ?

Address of what bogey? Tourspecgolf.com is the address. Enter your credit card details upon checkout abd your address. It will be shipped to your home. Or is it so that you don't have a credit card that is valid for online purchases? Or will the mail services don't accept golf clubs for some reason? I really don't understand the question here. Or do you want to actually have the club in hand before you buy? I mean, tourspec is e-commerce and that may not be for everyone but as you can nail your specs, should work for most of us.

Thanks Doc! Well, tomorrow morning we will have -7 degrees C here. It has been snowing some today.. Some courses around where I live are open but most will open their greens in 2-3 weeks. I normally don't hit the course before some time in June as the greens are just shabby. Then in late August they let the grass grow a bit longer and most of the fun is lost. Some people play April through September but not many.

About time
So an update for the short season we are about to enter into here in Sweden. In about a month the courses will look ok, the greens will roll at 6 and we will have 3 months of golf ahead of us. Yes, a great place to be for those months, although the rest of the year is a bit rough.. Like this morning, April 13th, I have ice on my car windows in the morning and there is a major accident due to icy roads in Stockholm. Anyways, enough moaning as golf season is around the corner. This year it looks like I will have 3 drivers to play around with. That means that every one of them will get about 2 rounds in this year :-) Grandista LS-001 with a Bangvoo Premium Crazy CRZ 450 with a Crazy Boron Jbeam ZY-7 with a Sanki Planaria All shafts are in the mid 60 gram range so about 10 grams lighter than I'm used to. Good, cause I'm getting old. I will also have 3 sets of irons to fiddle with: My trusty Yamaha Tour Model 2009, this year fitted with a set of TT Monacos The PRGR IDBL will also get a set of TT Monacos And the Yonex ezone MB are shafted with Crazy Tour Targets. For the 3-wood selection I have a large number but I don't know if I'll actually have a 3-wood or a 15° hybrid. It will be between: Agrind Kobe 15° with a Fire Express 75 and Proceed 15° Ti-UT with a Basileus For 21° hybrid the RC 505v with Tour AD-UT 95x will stay in the bag. Have to work out a little though. Wedges will be Buchi MT-201 protos mixed with SDJ 115 protos. Driving iron, I want Tanihara's Honma but have not found anyone who wants to steal it for me. Have to find something new, maybe the Titleist 718 T-MB 2-iron. Putter will likely be the Gold's Factory Private Stock #2 that I had refinished at TSG Clubworks in black boron with a matching Teramoto shaft. Looking forwards to this season that I hope also involves a trip or two to the range. Haven't been in a couple of years so to make the Yonex MB work I will have to hit a few. Happy golfing brothers!

And I have a raw black Yururi Gekku wedge in Sweden where it is often wet. I always wipr it after every shot I hit. Have had it for 5-6 years and there is very little rust but it looks awesome. I think it gets more rust in the winter being in a dampish room in the basement.

Is the Hibiki included with the Kamui Asiri head? It is a pretty head for a hard hitter with big draws if I recall correctly. GLWS partner

Totally agree on the Sergio win. I too had to wipe them tears. Collin retakes the spot as the best ever to never have won a major (Champions Tour does not count here).

Wouldn't that be awesome, to see pics of your stix all along the way from iron ore to shafted and gripped club? I think all companies should include that with our clubs. Would perhaps increase the price just a tad.. Sort of like "provenance" in wines and antiques :-)

They are beautiful - just played one round with them but the Steelfibers aren't for me. So maybe I'll just pop the Monacos in there and bag them. Need to get me a 3 and 4 iron though, wanted to have the Honma proto that Tanihara has in his bag but can't seem to get my hands on them. Suggestions Stu? I have a Honma TW-U (listed here) but the profile is too shallow for me and it is too bulky. Also, difficult to keep the ball down in the wind as its cg is low. It is very easy to hit long, straight and high but I want more to say :-)

Hi, Yes, they are Endo Japan s20c. You're spot on. I have a set of Monacos that will go into these if they don't sell. I don't get along with carbon shafts in irons. Think they will be amazing.

Thanks Ian! The ballflight with the Baldo is about the same as the GP although it is a 9* versus 10* for the GP. The Baldo is a lot more workable whereas the GP is dead straight and a very low spin flattening kind of flight. Both drivers are very pleasing to look down upon. To me, the Baldo is a precision tool of the highest order and just beautiful.

Real or Fake Honma clubs
Thanks Ian - I'll put some effort into learning how to master the queens tounge ?. The "crooves" still strikes me as being wrong and thereby I'm questioning the authenticity of the sticks.

And the "s" in "rules" as I think it should be "rule". But what do I know, I'm Swedish..
