Driver Trial
Ok. So a softer flex will give you more kick but probably also more spin. I play SX flex in most shafts but some, like the 9003x and Diamana X I'm doing well with S flex as they are stable enough designs to let me keep it in the fairway. What flexes are the shafts you have played and what are the lofts of the heads? If I were you I'd try a 9* low spin, deep face head and a heavier S flex stable shaft in 44.5". Like a Diamana X 70s, Waccine 88 or similar. That will allow you to whack it without being too scared of finding the woods. You are also more likely to get a good smash factor with a slightly shorter shaft. My 2 cents

Driver Trial
Hi Octo, I have no experience with the Alpha but equally as important as ss is your angle of attack. I have the same ss as you but I can't get anything to balloon and never get high spin numbers. I'm currently using a 10* Grand Prix driver with a Diamana X 70s. It is flat, I carry about 250 which I'm happy with as I have very little side spin and tend to hit many fairways. To me distance is a definite second to direction. Maybe if you explain what your goal is in distance, flight and if your natural ball is andraw or fade someone on here will be able to give you some direction. Best B

PROTOTYPE 7D Putter Shaft in Mpbachman's New Flat Stick!
Come on, this is really not the sort of discussion we need. I'm sure kaaayelll was not suggesting that but rather was a bit stunned. Let's just leave it and hope for the sake of the forum that Robbie returns. I love his insight, willingness to try and review everything and his sarcastic humor. This place is a second home to me and I like it when it is fun.

PROTOTYPE 7D Putter Shaft in Mpbachman's New Flat Stick!
Thanks. I certainly have no clue but I kind of like this new touch of added mystique. I hope I can roll my new GF00A even better than I do my PS#2.

PROTOTYPE 7D Putter Shaft in Mpbachman's New Flat Stick!
So, without telling us you could give us a couple of hints such as: Do they make blanks for others? Y/N Do they sell putters under their own name? Y/N What city are they made in? See, all this would have a good number of comments and loads of speculation = fun! No harm in it. You could even hide some clues in new posts about Seven wedges and such ?

PROTOTYPE 7D Putter Shaft in Mpbachman's New Flat Stick!
Tru dat man :-) I'm utterly happy with my Private Stock #2 (still want to know who made the blank) and I will likely love the GF001A I picked up from Romaro-sl*t. Are both heads made by Kitada and tuned by the Master?

PROTOTYPE 7D Putter Shaft in Mpbachman's New Flat Stick!
Who makes the GF00A head? For example, the one in the proshop at 1500. Seems to be "the blank" with weights in sole and bumpers. It would be interesting to know who makes the head for sure.

How are we doing Chris? 20+ entries now? We should have a spin contest when the winners have received their fantastic wedges ?

Jason Day Itsy Bitsy Putter
The title is not right though as this is not the Jason Day Itsy Bitsy, this is a standard black Itsy Bitsy from The Vault. They are two completely different animals.

PM sent - not. I want it as a float for fishing. Is 300 + shipping ok? Btw, please send me an x-ray of the head. Thanks

New BST Photo Rules Effective Aug 20th, 2013
That is a good question Mr OD. I agree that it should be standard that everyone does it, for the sake of keeping the site safe. However, you have raised this issue a few times now in various threads and it seems more like you are the person you refer to in your picture as you seem to want to argue about this. There are a number of rules that I break every day, like speeding for instance. How about you?

Rib grips!
Oh, be careful building grips with a rib as they may become illegal (too strong of a reminder) or the rib may get a bit angled to really mess with your mind ?
-
Rib grips!
I've played ribbed grips since 1983. I really can't hit a ball without them. Even like them on wedges as where the rib is kind of tells me how much open I have the club. Anyway, there are loads of options. I have ribbed Masda, ribbed No1, ribbed Iomics and ribbed Elites. The only geips I have that are not ribbed are the stiched Gripmaster leather grips. The stiching kind of does the trick anyway. Happy hunting!
