  1. Urban Golf, they have three branches located at Smithfield's, Kensington and Soho, excellent fitters and clubmakers, speak to James or Craig. 100 miles closer than Brum.
  2. It's a sad day when the grandest of JDM, introduces new clubs that are no more than facsimiles of very old models.
  3. The Diamana X is superior to both the Kai'li and Matrix. My one is a S shaft but has been profiled to play almost XS, I did loose a few yards but control slightly better. Against the Kai'li, the X is a no brainer, be it X or XS.
  4. You need help, there's more to life than what shaft to use. Aerotech's are superior to Thumps, Monaco's are the one?

Normally, I would say snap but!!!!!! The break seems to be in the same position to mine which is unusual? No noise, in fact, I still cannot work out how it snapped?

Well, unless I play the shortest driver in the world, it's far from the centre. I would suggest nearer the kick point? To say it has nothing to do with Crazy without seeing it is a bit blase especially as almost no force was used when laying it down, hence the word fragile.

Lying it down in the boot of my car, snaaaaap, I know Crazy shafts have a reputation for being fragile but this is ridiculous!!!!!! Crazy Prototype S-531B, used only thrice purchased from a member of the forum, one time pull (TM adaptor). Looking at the shaft cannot believe how thin it is. Lesson learned, only new and never a prototype.
  9. If you want to send it to me, I have a Diamana X in the garage waiting for a new head. I will return it on my forthcoming visit. Seriously, the Diamana B is the spec, I was thinking of, will be interesting to see what you think of it/them?
  10. Your up early, 10 days and no one has hit it?
  11. Cannot believe there are no reviews on the AF-103?????????
  12. Plenty of Epon, fitters in the Uk, where are you located?
  13. I have a 28g model, slightly pimped in coldur A (see previous post on subject), Really nice, roll is excellent and the feel is as good as any Circle T etc. Speak to James, he can tell you exactly what or what cannot be done.

I have a set 4-P with Monaco shafts, PM me if interested?
  16. Which is bigger in Japan, Epon or Miura?
  17. Epon Miura Yamaha Tourstage PRGR
  18. I recently purchased the Tourstage Pro 2012 stand bag, the bag looked great but unfortunately it has not worn well and after a few months play the stand mechanism has broken and the bag has developed several faults, not sure if this is a one off. Problem with bags is the shipping charge is ridiculous and although Tario, is on the case not sure what can be done. In future, especially with stand bags, I think I would purchase a non JDM brand and you cannot go wrong with either Sun Mountain or Ogio. They may not have the cachet of JDM but if anything goes wrong life is a lot easier.

What's the length of the GD BB shaft and has it been tipped?

    Now we're talking.
  21. This post seems to have been heavily edited, I presume this means Dale RIP?
  22. Sorry, to me it still looks lazy. The reason why most JDM brands are out of reach to overseas buyers is the price point. A new set of Epon irons in the UK will set you back £1,300.00+, take 30% off and you still have a set of irons out of the reach to most buyers. Most US models fall in the £500.00 and below market and only Yonex are more expensive but heavily discounted with added wedges etc. The way brand JDM filters down is by eBay, I purchased my first set of Epon Technicity S irons for about £450.00, over 5 years ago then sold them for about £300.00. They were and are a great set of irons but technology has moved on. Chris, is always saying US branded clubs are years behind JDM equipment, enough said.
  23. I would suggest that Epon are the brand of choice for a majority of forum members but that does not mean we can not have a laugh at their expense and to bring out a 5+ year model for the overseas market is not worthy of them in my opinion. In answer to your question, what did Epon do to you? They make the best golf equipment, that's what. I could have said the roads but that's obvious and another film.
  24. You mean old models rehashed for overseas buyers. Should never have sold my Technity type-S
  25. That's what I thought, then I read it was sealed in the bag.
