This driver is looking very depressed sitting in the boot of my car awaiting for a new owner to adopt him. Its only wish is to hit the ball 350 yards to the middle of the fairway. Price reduction to plus shipping.

Grips are Golf Pride NIION, I think its their take on the Iomic grip, quite new out. Do you mean weight of driver or grip? Not sure exact weight of driver but it plays D2.

This is a total disappointment and all my fault, took one of my favorite drivers to my club fitter and after several fittings have a driver that may fit me like a Saville Road suit but it is not to my liking and I cannot face another fitting session. This is the latest model Kamui Works Ray in very good condition, the specs are; Conforming Length 45" Loft 9.75 0.5 open 60 deg lie angle 200g head weight No paintfill The shaft is brand new GD Tour AD DJ-6X shaft with one of the new Golf Pride luminous green grips. I think the cpm comes out at around 262 ish. To be honest this is a great combination just not for me and I know several members who can vouch for it. Comes with head cover. plus shipping or I may trade with similar high end JDM driver/shaft combo. PM if you require further info.

ADAMS 3T 16 XTD RIP 70X TOUR ISSUE
I hear the reason they produced the T model is the lower lofts were almost as long as a driver, hence the 16* loft. Easily the longest FW wood out there.

Tourstage 2012 X-Blade 707 - First Impressions
Three further range sessions and one on course practice round further:- These clubs are seriously good. Feel is excellent, you know where the ball has struck the face, good shots are rewarded bad shots are highlighted but forgiven to some extent. You know immediately where the ball is going. Very workable either way and the distance is as good as any. Purists will hate the graphics and the club number on the toe for some reason is confusing/awkward but these are minor points. This is one hell of a club and super glued in my bag.

Tourstage 2012 X-Blade 707 - First Impressions
My previous two sets of irons were the Miura 1957 blades and the original Titleist VG3's, if you were to morph both of these sets together they would produce the Tourstage X-Blade 707. As Tario says, this irons is all about the latest technology in golf club design. Looks wise, a wee bit smaller than mid size with a thin top line, the muscle back at the bottom rear is noticeable at address of the 4 iron but only just. There is a tungsten sole weight covering the whole sole which, I presume is the reason the club number is placed near the toe, the sole is not small compared to the Miura's but then again what is? The back cavity face is very decorative and I am not sure if this is not some sort of plastic covering, smallish offset. I had these shafted with the Nippon Modus 3. Off to the range...... I warmed up with the Miura's then switched. At address, the ball is framed perfectly for me and the club sits perfect for alignment. The feel of the head is very solid with a smooth feel, very similar to my previous Yamaha Tour irons. There is no clicky noise. Distance wise excellent and I would say, I was gaining at least half a club. Surprisingly so, also forgiving. After hitting a couple of buckets of balls, I am very, very impressed. I must admit, I hit my Miura's really well but overall I hit these better. Hopefully, I will play a practice round at the weekend and continue my assessment.

Perfect Pro grips
Thats not surprising as you use a different set of clubs each week The Nowon No1 expert grip is pretty good as well.

diamana X first play
First stop the range and a head to head against my Epon AF-102 9.5 degrees with Crazy Black 46, which is my best combo (for March). The Diamana X 60 (S) is fitted to a Kamui Ray 9.75 degrees. This is the first outing for the head as well. Distance the same although this not really a distance competition as range balls were pretty awful. Feel wise the Diamana wins hands down, this is really as solid and stable shaft, the harder you hit it the better it gets. Hard to explain but the whole shaft seems to work with your swing. Unfortunately my wrist injury cut in so back home for the ibuprofen gel. Wrist injury or not its 20 degrees out here and the course beckons. Winter rules and no run but this combination is an absolute killer, you feel you want to hit it harder each tee shot. My usual draw had disappeared and a slight fade was noticeable which may be down to the head being 0.5 degrees open, the trajectory was lower than the Epon/Crazy with a more piercing mid-flight. Distance is excellent and on three occasions far longer than anything previous. My bad shot is a duck hook which usually occurs two or three times a round, not one. Obviously, the honeymoon period will end but for now, I have a big smile on my face. Now, if I can only get my irons and putter to work in synch???????

The 2012 TourStage clubs
I was studying the charts yesterday and agree, this is definitely a step forward with the 707 range, forgiveness and playability all built in.
