Lol xchangmanx, I was playing at West Loch on the same day. Although we caught little rain , the greens were so wet we had to putt 2x as hard to get the ball rolling!

I've seen "Dance with Dragon" golf bags with the familiar dragon logo at a local shop. Is it a spin off brand from Gold's?

I like the finish and the grind. I'm not too crazy about all the stampings. I'd still put them in the bag though if I could.

FWIW, I just got my wife the 2006 VIQ CL. I got a brand new set for a very reasonable price since the 2008 is out or going to come out. She likes it a lot better than her TM RAC's. Its super light, sits very well at address and allows her to just focus on her swing and let the club do the rest. The moment she held a demo in her hand she knew right away "this is it"! Happy hunting.

It really caught my eye and I'm very interested in JDM irons ever since I hit an old MX-20 t-zoid that was lying around the local pro shop. They also had a g-field cb iron in there and that felt really good too when I hit it dead-on. I'm playing the r7 xd's with steel shafts right now and they are good clubs but the feel couldn't compare to the ones I mentioned earlier. I just need to dial-in my swing for consistency and I'm working on that with my coach.

Will the TC-550 be good for a mid/high handicapper (getting lessons though :) )? I'm thinking of a JDM forged iron that I will use for a very long time and take me down to single digits. I'm evaluating my options. Either these or the Epon AF-701.

Any reason why the new AF irons are not on their japanese site (http://epongolf.co.jp/products/)? Are these irons going to be their lineup for the international market only?
