  1. But i have to say those carbon ferrules do really look nice and expensive.
  2. As far as i am aware, Iomic the corded models are already manufactured there. I guess its natural for them to pick thailand for the remaining of their collection to be manufactured. I think they have done so for more than a year since they released those corded grips. I think Thailand are quite an expert in manufacturing grips. Even golf pride has done so with their new G2 Wrap

I can't stand looking at all the feedbacks here i just took over a friend's AF 151 yesterday. Hoping to test it out soon.
  4. I tried a miura giken the other day and if i am not wrong its also a 1 piece technology like your yamahas thats why i asked. I actually like its feel. Soft yet solid sorry i don't know how to describe better. too bad never had a chance to try the Yamahas
  5. After reading your comments i realised yes, i actually do strike the ball better with the 502s too well except that 7 iron from 701. i get a cleaner more crisp contact with the 502s. Thanks
  6. I didn't know you can get just the ferrules. I remembered i reshafted my epons and wanted to get ferrules whilst i was in Thailand, they didn't want to sell just that. But that was years ago.
  7. Have you tried Miuras? If yes how they compare?
  8. Has anyone tried this? I tried the Nextage 430 and i think it is comparable to some good drivers out there. Big sweet spot area and somewhat forgiving too. Any info welcome thanks.
  9. Thanks for the advice, I actually decided to bend the 7 iron this wkend, lets see the results next week.
  10. Totally agreed. thats why i am looking into a whole complete set. I was just experimenting whether i could hit those 502s initially rather than buying the whole set and finding out i didn't like them.
  11. LOL, i think you are just like most members in this forum.
  12. I have a full set of 701s 5-pw i bought the 502s 8-pw as an experiment. knowing that my game improved and wanting to get a set that is more workable so i bought those to see whether i can really use them. I can now do without the forgiveness of the 701s i might complete the whole set or look for another set of irons. Something like what you are gaming now. :) my 6 iron has increased in distance but not as significant as my 7 iron. As for now i really like a more compact and a thinner top line than the 701s, so the hunt begins. How do you like your Yamaha V forged? Maybe i just bend my 7 iron to 32* , maybe thats a solution for the time being.
  13. Thanks for info, I was hitting 140-145 meters before with the same 7 (701s) since i improved i didn't realise that the distance followed suit.
  14. T another question for you, if i change from my current steel shaft to graphite , should i go for similar weights or heavier? as my current gamer GS 95 in R flex which i don't have any problems with.
  15. Thanks T, How about the loft for the 502s in the 7 iron?
  16. I am currently gaming Epon 701 5 - 7 and Epon 502 from 8 - pw. anyone knows the difference between the gap from 8 iron 502s and the 7 iron 701? I find that i am consistently hitting 130-135 meters with the 8 iron but the 7 iron goes 150 -155 meters effortlessly. i feel that the gap is too much.
  17. I was also struggling with my 3* but since i was gaming my previous model EGG 15* my game has improved and it is as easy as hitting a 17* or 18* FW. I recently tried the new EGG spoon whilst i was in Hong Kong. I should say that it is much easier than my EGG spoon . I could tell you the distance as it was only on a launch monitor. I paired it with Tour AD SF 6 in SR made for FW. Mid trajectory and lots of roll. Hope this helps.
  18. Did you change to same weight graphites or lighter ones? is the increased distance consistant?
  19. You should see it in person , its much better than you expect. I am sending in my other to have some aluminium inserts so that it does not alter the original head weight.
  20. I dont think so but you can get skinz anytime and cover those graphics...
  21. hmmmmmmm sounds like i have to get those.....:)

I always wanted to try the C kua , wondering at that weight would it be too light? BTW how does the Butt feel with its bigger size?
  23. Hmmmmmm never thought of that..... lemme ask him LOL
  24. Its just really unlucky...... can you imagine if you leaned to place your ball and the tee than snap....
  25. I honestly am not sure, i lent my driver to a friend and that happened. Oh well. :) Should not be that high i guess but got it at the right spot.
