Taylormade R11
Sorry guys i am not sure whether i should post it here or not as it might not be the Japanese version. I received in the mail on tuesday and had a go at it on wednesday. I have to say that it feels somewhat in between Supertri but more solid feel(in a good way), and i like it how its actually more mute. The white did not distract me that much as i expect it would be but upon trying i found that the club head is heavier than the supertri hence when i go for the ball the shaft lags behind. Not till that evening i found out that the swing weight turned out to be D-8 (no wonder) Installed is 1 gram near the heel and 10 grams near the hosel not sure why though.

New Crazy Shafts
Crazy is trying to be on top of the list again. Hope they are but at the mean time i am so in love with my Kamui + Quadra FE SR flex combo. They are meant for one another.

If you're in the market for a new driver and have some cash to spend, make sure you consider this:
Ma ma Mia, i hope i had enough power to hit those things. There is a shop here that are having sale on those crazy shafts however they do not stock complete range... otherwise i will be hopping my way there like a little bunny.

Miura Giken 2006 VS Miura CB 501 VS Epon AF 502
I had a go with the CB 501 at the range yesterday, I thought even though it is shafted with GS 95 S , i should be able to hit no probs. I felt it was heavy, didn't feel right , the shaft felt harsh. Is it really that much of a difference from R to S flex? it should not right? Might be a bad day yesterday. Let me try it again tomorrow. BTW the head felt so heavy unlike what i had pictured in mind. LOL The stupid Indian not the arrow right >>>

Miura Giken 2006 VS Miura CB 501 VS Epon AF 502
Trust me i have the same problem, i have RC irons, Epon 701s, GT forged, and 1/2 set of 502s i am not far off. I have way too many drivers and way too many wedges and way way too many putters. Lucky i have a secret store room. LOL What do you think comparing to your TOUR V yamahas to the 502s?

Taylormade R11 Driver
I will get one for sure, but not sure will be keeping it for long or not. I had the supertri but felt that the R9 was better. so not everything new is good. Should i be posting in Old better than New instead? :)

Iron shafts
I am pretty each iron shaft would suit different heads. I use to have NS pros installed on Fourteens and i hate it i don't know why. I sold them obviously. But Ns pros work wonders with GT forged. As for Epons i prefer DG's GS series over the PX shafts. I could say they are a perfect match. I think you have pretty much covered them all. Time to try those graphite for irons so that we have a better understanding on those babies.

Old better than new
Why oh why must it be the old beast all the time that prevails although not significantly in every aspects but.... like you i took out my old AF 101 with Rombax F today. I missed how it sets up beautifully and how confident every time i strike it. I agree with you on the feel of the new drivers (Kamui + FE) such a perfect combo with a HUGE roll out even on miss hits. I am not a big fan of Fujikura but it was given to me for free so oh well might as well put it to good use. I missed how straight i drove with it and how much fun just attacking the ball with it. Oh well its going back into the garage and only if i am having trouble with the current driver i know that its there to support me during those bad times. LOL

Old better than new
I didn't quite think about it until you quoted "I have always loved tinkering with new (and old) gear. So I think this is a good thread - it's amazing how a new head, shaft, grip, or lie angle changes the way a club plays." Since I changed my short irons 7-pw. I was more confident attacking the pin with the new set up while actually the difference is the heads and the lie angle. When i go back to the old 7-5 irons i have to readjust the way i hit some how which was totally unnecessary. Funny how the eyes deceives the brain.

Kamui + Quadra Combo
hmmmm hmmmmm, yeah when i try to get a little aggressive the FE is not not left friendly which i don't have a problem with Crazy. experiments are getting more expensive. I have a FE SR flex coming and i am still not sure how it goes. Keeping fingers crossed.

Kamui + Quadra Combo
Has anyone tried the stiffer flex quadra shafts? can you please share how it compares to crazy's feel?

Crazy Shaft (extra care needed)
I actually experienced first hand with my golf buddy's 3 FW , similar to your case. The shaft was Diamana Alisei. Well i guess you really have to get a new driver. "or shaft" :)
