  1. Agree with iDrive... How does the SPB work in the putter? Does the flex make a difference?
  2. Based on what I am seeing in the column it is either the offset spec or counter to conventional design practices and most people's expectation the FP is decreasing as you move to shorter irons...
  3. Your forum... Seeing Epon in a USDM forum, while I see your logic, will confuse many. Why not something like Boutique, JDM and USDM... Don't see many boutique non-JDM around and EPON fits nicely there, JDM for the RomaRo, Tourstage, TMAG Japan, Srixon, etc... and USDM for Global products like Miura NA, Titleist, Cobra and the like...
  4. You had them out during our round a few weeks ago, nice feel to them for sure...
  5. I wonder if the 358s are just 111% percent better than the 247s...
  6. I think he means because there is a US importer and shops, while few, that carry the product. Eastern Golf is the distributor listed on the ONOFF site, although the easterngolfonline.com seems to be down... His distinction seems to be whether the line has international representation. Accordingly RomaRo, Fourteen, and arguably Epon should be USDM but I could be mistake as he calls out Epon as still being JDM.
  7. Too bad no one likes the black ones...
  8. Either of those sets conforming?
  9. One of the bags in rotation at home... GF modded Labo Putter, TS358, F358(sometime Type S UT 18*), Type S UT 21* & 24*, CB358, S Forged wedges 52* & 58*, '13 Forged 56* all in an ONOFF stand bag Everything except the putter and F358 shafted up with Roddio shafts... None of the grips are ONOFF/Labo though...
  10. I never played the '13 ONOFFs, but my 5i at 27* is ~200+ My bag is pretty much all ONOFF/Labo and am not carrying a driver...
  11. You be interested in an Epon AF-903 20*?
  12. I weakened the loft by 1* and they are still super long. Instead of the 4 iron I opted for the Type S UT at 24*. work very well from a gapping perspective...
  13. This was in a driver shaft and it was in the 50g range, while I prefer stuff in the 70s or high 60s. On the iron side, I think you have a little more leeway on shaft weight. I have played the NS950s for a couple of rounds without any issue and also the SP Blue which starts to push the high 120s...
  14. I tried some of the early light weight shafts in the Kuro series and could not find my timing. Was able to get to square ok but was giving up lots of distance due to improperly timed kick from the shaft. Went up to a tipped X flex to try and achieve stiffness profile, but could not make it work. Maybe the newer generations are better...
  15. There are only a couple of the top end graphite iron shafts that I have not tried, Crazy Limited, Waccine, and the heavier weighted GD shafts. They have been around for a while and are much higher priced then the lighter weight shafts. Believe them to be more expensive than the Roddio. In the brief conversations with my builder while doing my iron shaft shootouts, his take based on some of the pros he used to build for was that they were not a tremendous option compared to some of the newer shafts. Tario, would say similar things but he would always caveat it with several JPGA players use and love them. My opinion, at this point will be playing my first Waccine shaft in a UT, I think Roddio is the bees knees. The way these respond to fluid swings is unmatched. The Crazy CBI EVO might do a tad better for super aggressive, but that is not my game. I prefer tempo to aggression, rhythm method all the way. Behind the Roddio are the UST/Mamiya Tour Attas, a little more penetrating ball flight than the Roddio and a better paint job but not as good feeling. Not sure if that helps or not, but having gone through the shafts, unless you can get 1 or 2 single shafts to try I'd stick to what I know I like. Similarly, you can get a single Roddio give it a whirl in the other head and if it doesn't float your boat try something else.
  16. You know that is Stew's vote too. Also might consider a TS 709 I think it was for MC, TS909 for MB... TS also has that nice combo set, a little to stumpy for me, but great irons...
  17. ONOFF/Labo and I am almost there.... Of course I wouldn't bag a driver, instead I would use the TS358...
  18. Well done Ash. I have a similar setup.
  19. Talk about rehash nan old thread. Have. CBT 75SX in the 380 and it is a tad too spinny but a definite performer. Also have the little brother with a P9003x, wow.
