yup had so many question on specs and what not ,though it best to pop this up bec this is what the actualy are so the next time i get a stinger labled as sorrta x stiff and its in fact XXXXXXXXXXX well i wil go bezerk bec there can be NO more dispute about it .
-
gents... for the love of all things being fair and to SAVE emabarrasment in sending on shafts that are labled.errm i dont know hte specs on this...... bec they were bought from a NON reliable source..................................., here are THE specs on the 2 stingers in 70 weight stiff and X so WHEN these get moved along, THIS WILL TAKE THE GUESS WORK out of IF they were tipped, butted ,blahbalhalh... now there can be NO MORE GUESS WORK involed bec everyone....................... will measure thier shats PROPERLY chaps get them checked before u sell. 2004 vs 2009 stinger 70stiff: 74.5 gram 264 cpm 3.2deg. vs 68gram x 275 cpm X 3.2 70X flex : 76.5 gram 278 cpm 2.8deg. vs 71 gram x 288 cpm x 2,8deg. if new clubs didnt matter that much .... why does the golf mkt sell a trillion billion gazzillion dollars of clubs each year, hmmmmmm ? clubs matter to me for a cpl of reaons. firstly i am totally addicted to feeling and hearing a shot id envisioned and it coming off perfectly . Sure ican do it with an old POS from a 10 dollar bin, but thats not gonna heighten my senses like a forged 6 iron from ENDO with the latest offering from NS shafts now is it ????????????? secondly i LOVE tinkering with clubs to see if i can change the flight patters slighty, get it heigher .lower move left or fight a bit for certian courses. its a hobby and i love it! I could spend tharg on lessons to lower my score, or............... like Angel Cabrerra i can go it alone and learn from trial and error. which i MUCH prefer to do, bec im NOT gonna be popping up on the PGA tour any thime this lifetime trying to earn a living from golf , golf is a game and a past time, not a job. whilst ONE of the aims is to go low esp IN A COMP. the REAL aim is to enjoy a walk around a beautifully sculptured park whilst occasionally concentrating on hitting a litte white ball enroute! there was a great saying by someone.... dont forget to stop and smell the roses.. and i think if we just remeber our first offical "wow" strike when we hit that first JDM club ,what ever it was.... that feeling is ...i preesume why were all here, and THATS why we keep tinkering with perfectl good clubs.!!!!

102-106 u shud have no issue with the diamana X in 60 0r 70 s shud be fine. unlesss theres something weird like what onoff used to do with thier hosel clamps on thier drivers, i cant see why a new shaft in the head wont improve it.
-
sigh.., cant wait for the snow to melt and other guys buy some clubs, try some out, swap some over post some thoughts. gets a bit ho- hom when theres no one else playing.

diamana X is prob a great shaft choice. i cant go past it. although u might want to try a graphite design z9003 7x. that might get u very intrested. id love to see you wit hthe jbema zy-11 8* i think of us all u wud get the most assistance frm this design. the diamanaXX or the GD z9003 7xx hmmmmmm yea., -
ooooooooooooooooooooooook wedge lovers. these have officially been gamed. took the dgs200s shafts out popped in the NS wv 125s deeelish shafts although ican see whay they dont suit everyone!! having not played in months , things were rusty so i spent a LOT of time chipping. i had these in play front nine and my tourtsage black x-wedge for the back nine . or as i play more like fornt 72 and back 72 well firstly these nabla blacks VERY differnt to any other prgr and remembering i have them ALL.! they have a VERY thin sole. VERY thick topline in comparison to sole. small compact head . whilst not pear shaped , they are almost there and zero ofset. they are almost onset. impact is SENSATIONAL.......... prgr clubs and in particlaur thier wedges take some equalling for feel. the designer (whoever he is ) is seriously onto somehting the NS shafts make the ball go very high, and plop.i dont think they zing so much, they are veyr differnt to taking aim and hop skip stop. nope they dont do this ,they are for falling dead. nothing better illustraded than the dozen 57* i hit on a flat green , none spun back miles , none released ,they al ljust plopped. and died. , it was great WHEN u get used to it, the thin sole cuts thru the harder grass beeautifully for a steep decent like ive got. i hit down on wedges very steep, and i take huge. huge divots. with broarder sole wedges i kinda get muddled up too much , so ive erased broad soled wedges now. they just dont suit me . seeminly neither do WV shafts.. as much as iLOVE them the flight doesnt suit me . i like to aim / shoot low . get some spin and bite. thats just me and prob why i love the s-yard bolds so much. but back to these black beauties. i cud get a LITTLE bit funky with them, not a lot , but a bit. and not up clsoe and perosnal near the green for delciate shots.. nah the 57 wasnt feel enough . i needed somehting flippier. hitting big slices and draws wasnt anywhere near as easy as it was with the tourtsges, i mean it was day and night BUT that meant i just aimed at the pin more , with the TS i was aiming t at a otally differnt air space. i like to try both. on wet ground they took HUGE divots and got some decent bite. on the more forzen spots they clipped the ball perfeclty and held the green well. these are all rounders of the highest order. but u need a 3rd wedge i want to try them vs the L.E.D next weekend to see how much differnce there is but for sat game i was mighty impressed . u DEF need another wedge tho, the thicknes of the topline doesnt lend itself to too much versatility. i def needed a 60 with the tourstage x-wedge i didnt i had them 51.5 and 56.5 and didnt need a 60 at all. the tourstage are quite amzing. ( like ive been saying for 2 years to deaf ears) but they dont spin near as much as the prgrs do. but are miles more versatile. thats not better not worse . its just what u like . if ihad just these wedges for a month. id not loose any sleep . but i do need the LW in my bag which takes a power club out. no biggie . but its somehting i have to consider WHEN i play proper golf . of the ast cpl of yrs i like these more than the nablas for mlast yr BECEASUSE they are thin soled NOT borad, those nabla for malst yr still feel better and lok better. but i prefer the thin soles. def 2 thumbs up for diggers. as good as it gets really,

nah they are all latest and greatest. this was the frst ime ive hit balls in 3 months so i was extremely carefull. not had my head in golf since november, i just got it back in the game. and i still feel tis too early ,but for the next 4 weeks its just getting my swings right , trying out new combos , and taking it easy, i spend most time early doors putting and chipping. the modart i really like the look of,that will prob get a bag spot this season but if i was to choose YOUR driver id go with the krank or that jbeam deep one that looks the NUTS. the egg 7 is worht having as an alternate id think put it like this id NEVER oust my jbeam 435 /stinger/ everything esle revolve around that one driver. the egg tho is a serious contended for top spot. hence my new found interest in putting the best shaft i got in it. i dont know nor . think itll go farther than my jbeam but i just find is suits my fairway finding thinking so well, i dont care (yet) about distance, im just concerend about swinging freely, and the eggs,, hit everyting iasked them too, cant ask for mare than that right ?
-
D-san, the egg 1 is straight. the egg 7 is clsoed (or it looks like it is) the new one isnt not at all, it looks dead square. materials on the new one look like a big upgrad, the diff in appearance will make u get the newo one without question. the feel is differnt aswell. the new one has a "noticeable" thwack to it. very distinguishable twacky ping, and it feels addictive! wish i cudda taken snaps of the face and where i was hiitng it , it was pretty darn consistant the sound was differnt bec i had the difffern shafts, that makes a huge differnce. but remebering what the origianl one was , there was a small diff, but not huge, i still really rate the combo as a stock set up, have absolutely NO negatives to say about it, if u get the ball pretty cnsistantly middle then this is a GREAT driver, but when u get ur fave shaft on board ........................ well.........., i guesss theres areason it yr fav shaft !!! if i had ot gte ione without reservation id get the new model and re shaft it. im going to do that in the next cpl of weeks, bec playing this at 44.5 inch is just magnificent.! get my wizard to weave his magic, abd put the mighty diaman X or stinger X in it. still not 100% convinced its the best option for the wet or no bounce grass ,bec it IS low. but for sat conds, it was perfect., and when i go to hawaii well theres no point taking anythign else really although, of course i will!!!!!

yea you got me. hands up! its true.., i find my self underwater with the amount of new info on clubs and builds others are contributing with such gusto and regularity that i get lost in it all some times. alas looks like anothe heap of awsome wedges wil have to go back to the local consumers. puzzling..,

What a change this makes.! Usualy i go for higher spin or higher luanching shafts like the diamana B which is almost unbeatable ina 3 wood esp from off the deck, but when u have one in a 2 wood. The flight gets too high in even the lightest ofbreezes. And i loose distance. Didnt realisehow much til i went head to head with the stinger tipped alot the flight was very different So i took decided on the gd z90036x shaft for. The kasco fd. As a test vs rhe stinger tipped one, which is the best club ive built. Sat on course i took the gd one out Bit worried that the. Shaft was too light in a non driver But as usual my club guy earned. His coin and built a beauty, the. Head is 207 grams raw so its already got some weight to it so the sw is alreadyy heavier. He tiped and butted it 1/2 inch and wht i got was a brilliant fd. I wont be hitting this off the deck its only for tees. The stinger shafted one i can hit off deck but this ones abit more difficult to control. Flight is impossible to get too lowmbec of the shape ofmthe head. But. The. Shaft is really really good. Its very strong its good feel and its a wee bit. Anti left which helps in this. Head bec the kasco is closed. I was hitting this vs the solid contacts 2wood with stock shaft ( another excelent 2wod ) but the shaft was too high. Its dead straight but its not right. The result was the gd is about15 yards longer. Pin point accurate. Think ive stumbled onto a really really good 13.5. Or 14 deg wod shaft ,and can use it light instaed of typical 80grams i normally go for. Not for everyone isay but if u have a tendency to hit to high then this shaft is something. To consider. Extremely happy with its performance. Have a feeling that solid contacts head might get the same shaft pretty soon!

Rightyo these got played yesterday The egg 1 stock m43 46 inch. And the egg7 9*(def closed) with diamana ali islei 83s 44.5 inch First the egg1 Good , very very Good stock driver ,especially out of the middle its extremely nice , which brings me to the whole point of upgrading shafts Now, i like the stock shaft in this and when u middle it its perfect in every way. But when u dont middle it it feels thin. Compared to the diamana is chalk and cheese.so much so that i had to put it away bec rhe shorter diamana was so much nicer to hit.but abck to that later. Remebering im hitting at 60% no more its cold and the balls going nowhere. So the long shafted egg1was a very nice choice it goes noticeably higher than the egg7 which is a god thing i got a cpl of very good drives away and went Buuuuuuuuu yaaaaaa,,,! It still Hard to turn it over, and misses predominatly are higher fades really ahd. To concentrate on getting my top hand to turn over to keep it straight but theggod ones. Igot were excellent. The bad ones , or in fact. The not so perfect ones. Were pretty ordinary. So. I put it away and used the egg7 maianly back nine. Picked it up from my club surgeons and hes re made it to 43.5 d0 327 gram, I must say ive not been more excited to hit a driver since craigs syard388 7dreamers beast. This one while not quite in that league, didnt dissapoint 1 iota i tell ya this is magnificent driver I cant work out why i can hit a d6 anda d0so equally well On a wet day with no power and jsut the. Barest of turns. I hit 6/7 back nine and The 3 ihit on front were there or there abouts. Its really going to take some thought to. Get this out of my bag now. Its a fairway findr of the highest order. Cant say enough good things ,and cant say 1 negative. I like it closed it doesnt affect me. In the slightest. Im going to re build the new1 with another diamana X So if anyone wants a cpl of prgr shafts...let me know . Prgr seriously got the bag spot. Its going to be a reasly. Big. Decision to take this or t he jbeam stinger to comps. Thats how good this went

prob is bec these come at 46 inch, the head weight is about 194-5 grams , so getting it to 201-202 will take fluffing. il try that with a 7 later this saeaon 44 inch with GD p9003x. fairways..., come to pappa!!!
-
Finally got to hit the Egg 1 . stock shaft prgr something-or-other same flex rating m-43 same lenght i think 46 inch can see the development from last seasons 7 to the 1. the newer version is a spruced up model of the 7. same kinda shape, same kinda lines ,same kinda set up THEY BOTH LOOK CLOSED. dont actualyl know if they are or not . but they look it. matters not 1 iota bec these things DONT go left. well not in 43mph and not for me. they feel terrific, both of them, looks DEF go to the newr version, the "1" the face is differernt the has some new fangled thing on it , does it feel differn, cant say, but it LOOKS like it shud , and that alone wil make u buy one. it did me. flight was pretty simliar tbh. cant really say i sw a big difernce, iguess ill know more o nthat as it wamrs up but right now its spliting hairs. the 7 is he cleaner of the two, the 1 is a hotted upverison , the sports model so to speak. i gotta hit themboth on course, hopefully this sunday to make 100% sure. but for now, lets say either or of these wu wont be loosing one one for the other........, 2.7 litre turbo or 3litre small 6 sir????
-
i think its a litle soft. i like it actualyl but its nociceably less rigid than with steel. i get the vizard to draw actually i def cant do that with steel. work that out!

big ben... the day u sold those callaway tour authentics with the c-taper protos, was the day i realsied u were certifibaly INSANE!!!!! they are THE best cavities ever. in all conds. thse extra bounce is just unreal and hte feel is briliant i have to admit i took the c-tapers out and put them in a set of PRGR tr500s and swapped in a set of NSpro SP blues.. ilove.. love those irons thse quad dots rule, ive never seen another set of them since cheers!!!!!
