i like stepping Sp blues for instance. i wont use the stated flex in this range il llawyas go the hard stepped S of soft step the X depending on club head. dont do this with ohters but in SP blue it works well, -

yea bec the 701s are not the lowest laucnhers in my fleet but they are a super players iron. the x-100s i nthem were [perfect fpr play but feel CRAPOLAAA. tourtsage headsarnt the softest tissue in the box as it is. so a shaft that can play like x-100 with feel will make these prety darn impressive im backing -

if u guys want a JDMN putter then u HAVE TO LOOK at yamada-sans putters the Hiro M stuff has gone a differnt tack these days low quality high turn over ( so im relaibly told). the yamada putters are very good pieces and get air time in pros bags all over the place. ive got ahd a lot of these and think they are tops the other thing u can do is hunt down hiro matsumotos older putter.. NOT the new stuff. then ull get a good putter. t he 1999 special ed. is easily as good as anyhting else ive got

well hope fully tonight ill be able to tell you! i have the yamaha tour2013 4iron with a sp blue. ive gothe rest with the thumps nad hte 7i tourstage 701 is getting the aeortechs today for range test tonight i do know immedialty that the thumps are 10 billiontrillion times nicer to hit than the SP blue. but, for performance the sp blue i nthe 4i is brillinat. just feels bad in comparison -

it was the 425 tour. that lives in sydney now , i played with the owner of it in december. he gives it a massive nudge.. handles his swing speed which is a lot faster than mine with aplomb. he was thinking of changing it t untill i (hopefully) talked him out of it bec he murders it! that was one driver i regret selling in a moment of madness !
-
i used to struggle wth it with a crazy cb50.. it was long but so low .. i didnt get the most out of it . balls were too low to be consistantly long. its wasredicuslouly stright most tof the time.... but it was a tought flex..... and heavy... after shafting it with the stinger and taking small weight off it.... i used it on the weekend in the cold for the first time and seeing where my ball landed i have changed my tune irreversably. this driver is the distance kahoona. i know where i drive to in mid summer.. and i was gettign the ball to the same spots in mid winter. that fact cant be ignored. and. i was getting it HIGH! only thing i cant do is make it bend 1 single millimeter its gunbarrel straight gawwwd bless the stinger! this is my drive for the next few months.

righty o jeff san..................... im going to send my one in, same as yours.. but im going to get a tongue alignemt put on it.... its THE MOST UGLY THING u can do to a putter........... but as i rolled craigs in tasmania in dec.. nad immedialty went wholly sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. this is way better than everything i own.. the choice was made super easy. ugly repulsive hideous YES.. results out of this world!
-
T....., i think it might hav been his actual putter. it has "staff only "on it and his shingo stamp on the face. iu cant confirm it yet.. but i have a contact that knows him so ill find out.. its sus 303 and its super to play. been mucking around with it again and im a big fan of the non milled face for rolling balls the ball sticks o the face it feels like... this is a beaut one.. one of my better ones...
-
finally manged to track one down....... and........ imnot dissapointed 1 iota. used it in comp in oz and putted very very well with it, saved me a cpl of strokes. i also boughth the catalina II which is longer and more elongated.... but a bit more punchy off the face. the classic seesmto have a mroe controlled roll but i liek the sahpe of the cat II better.. both these are really good putters, the cat 2 was a good price and the cat classic was . well.. not cheap..but not crayz exxxy either. would happily game both of these in a heart beat . but i wudnt rate them near the top of theo nes i have for feel.... not close. so a custom made one in damascus might be on the cards!
