Most chrome irons Ive seen, Including my vokey get that way. For some reason they seem to rust after a ceartin period of time. Just where you hit the ball most often. Yes, that may be true I guess. A friend of mine has been playing the same MP14s for 5 years in a row. He plays 3/4 times a week and it's a range rat. his iron are beta up. but not rusted as in that pic. Anyhow, great pics!

nice putter! The iron with the rust. I have never seen anything like it before. I know of guys who practice everyday and play a lot of guy, their irons are all worn out, but not to the point of that pic...

Are these particular shafts more apt for Full-bore heads? Titleist, or TM heads? I am asking because I am looking to see how one would fit a 983K head. thx!

The R7 is the real thing, whether you want to accept it or not, compare it, critize the company for the way they do business etc, regardless, you got to hit it to believe it. Just like DM stated it, the major advantage I see over previous drivers. regardless if you want to change the ball flight, is that the R7 is so tight. I mean, unreal, it is super consistent and it has a much compact head. I think having it at a neutral position with the correct shaft, beats any previous TM driver, DF/TP/R500/300 etc. Even the retail is a great offering from TM.

I need some help.... A friend of mine plays the Grafalloy shaft and while he likes it he wants a Fuji shaft. He just bought a new 983K head and would like to have the same feel.torque..weight...etc as that of the Prolite....Any ideas as to what shaft--Fuji---plays similar to the Prolite 35? thx! Fuji does not have to be expensive, even a Vista Pro may do the trick ?????

you're kidding right? if it's a marketing tool they should summarily fire their entire marketing department. what kind of marketing tool is, 'we have secret versions clubs that we only make available to tour players to trick you into buying the retail version. we give these clubs to people on ebay who tell you that what we sell in the stores is crap! AND we don't hardly make a dime on the tour issue black market!!! we're just hoping you don't use the internet and will never figure out the difference. thanks for your order.' i agree that tourspecgolfer's is an interesting question though - i'm not surprised about the onesy twosey deals coming from caddies and reps, but places that have large quantities of the stuff - i gotta wonder who's cutting those deals at taylormade. well, you know, sometimes we see lots and lots of Tour equipment being sold as if they were retail--not prices, but availability. You got to wonder what type of control TM exercises over this, if it ever does...

For heads/clubs that are 9/10 condition. I'd say around $150 with a steel shaft--TP version and possible close $200 with a steel shaft--Tour If it has a graphite shaft, I'd say close to $180-$200 for the TP version and definitely $200+ for a Tour version. Even more for a tour head with a high end shaft, i.e. Saphire, HK, etc... Of course I could be totally off... :)
