If the data you are providing is accurate, then I'd say keep the setup you have. 260 y with a 95 mph ss is pretty optimum, I'd say. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus
  2. Just out of curiosity, Stew. Have you hit the onoff forged? It's not exactly the type of irons you would be looking at, but if you mention the vg3s, you have to try the onoff forged. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  3. Oh, I just saw that they must be confirming. Just ignore my previous post. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

Nobody jumped on these yet? These are great. Glws Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  5. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the yamaha inpres x wedge from 2008 or so. These are pribably the most spinniest wedges i have seen. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  6. Is the 2011 model really that.much better than the 2010 v201? Never really thought about the 2011 model because I liked the looks of the 2010 v201 so much better. This years v202 on the othe hand... yummi! Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  7. Sorry, not letting this one go.:D Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  8. I had the v201 in 9° before I went with the 10°. The 9° was to me really really low and for some reason much more difficult to hit. The 10° head is so much easier to hadle. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

Some pics added in the original post!
  12. Interesting results. As far as the fw numbers are concerned, the launch angle on the egg seem really low. Might be the reason for the loss in distance. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

Stew, you are right with the Ilima. It's probably not ideal. Actually, on days without wind it's good. I can be almost as long as with the driver off the tee. Towering high shots that carry forever. I would say it's borderline to ballooning. Distance is almost all carry. With my moderate SS it works. On windy days not so good. I've been thinking about another shaft. Not sure what though. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

Hi guys, time for a first peak on my bag. Excuse me the poor picture. I will update it when I get time and better light. So here is what's in my bag: Yamaha V201 10° with a Roddio W6-BA stiff flex shaft PRGR Egg Spoon 15° with a Diamana Ilima 70S shaft Adams Idea Pro A12 20° and 23° with Matrix Ozik Altus regular flex shaft Onoff Forged 5 - PW with NS Pro 950 GH stiff flex shafts Epon KGX 208 52° with NS Pro 950 GH stiff flex shafts Yamaha Inpres X Wedge 56° with NS Pro 950 GH stiff flex shafts Taylormade Z-TP Wedge 60° with Dynamic Golf wedge flex shaft Taylormade Ghost Tour MA-81 (US Version) Feel free to comment!
  17. Wow, never heard that a shaft has a break in period. Maybe Tario, Chris or Tats can comment on that. My SS is around 100 mph.
  18. Very nice! Specially the irons;) Love Yamaha gear. Also hit those '11 yammi tours. While the results were quite good, I still need something a little more forgiving. Note to myself: Make pics of my bag as well!
  19. If you want super forgiving and I assume not too big because you were comparing to the Epon AF102, you probably have to look at the D202. The V-Series is very forgiving for a players club, but it is not stupid easy to hit. The V-Series is probably comparable to the AF102.
  20. Hi TSGers, anybody hit the Fuji Rombax Platinums? Tried to google but couldn't find anything. Would be specially interested in the 65 S.
  21. Great looking putter. I'm happy you getting along well with it. I don't mean to sound kike I'm looking for something negative here, but you didn't complain when you found out the head was heavier than what you originally ordered? If i had to pay that kind of amount for a custom order, I for sure would be not all that satisfied if it turned out to be wrong spec'd. Just my 2 cents.
  22. Absolutely a steal for that yamaha tour head. If i could play better, I'd be all over this head. But for now the non tour version is the way to go for me. Glws
  23. For some reason heel shafted half mallet putters are the only ones that suit my eye. Can't play anything else. They somehow feel more natural for my stroke. Have been using a cheap cleveland classic model for years and liked it a lot. Soft of the face and decent distance control. Always had issues with distance control with the odyssey white hot xg models which were way to soft. Graet for short putts but on longer ones... oh boy. Just recently purchased the 2012 Taylormade ghost tour ma81 (us version) model. While I'm not too convinced on the feel, performance more than makes up for that. That white finish really does work for alignement. Standing over the ball it gives you the impression that you will always hit it where you re aiming.
  24. Although I have only hit the Onoff forfed and the 2011 Yamaha v forged tour out of the bunch, my vote goes to the onoffs. Stupid easy to hit.and still acceptable looking clubs. Oh and by the way, did I already mentioned soft...?
