Actually there are markings for conforming and nonconforming grooves and these have a circle stamp as well ......a custom set will have a circle K stamp by the A in MIURA

Is it possible that the Vokeys were parallel tips and the modus are taper ??? perhaps the tapering is different on the shafts due to manufacturer specs.....im sure some mesh fiberglass tape or sanding beads will tighten the fit and center the shaft.
