at that swing speed, you are going to have a different experience than most of us here....i find the 302s incredibly soft to the point of being vague...they don't seem to have a punishing point and even thin shots don't feel that bad.....with a graphite shaft to absorb some more vibrations, the feel may ne extremely muted.....some feedback is always good and i know the 302s really push the limit on softness and forgiveness...... * i wish i could hit a 200 yard 6 iron on a good day : (

The original Zero was a beast...i found the face very forgiving in terms of distance and it was high launch and low spin.....i quit gaming the driver because the miss with that club for me was a big slice......for players who play a fade, this could be quite the weapon !

i can understand saying its 10 yards longer with shaft but the 20 yards without it makes me believe the head is a dud.....

I think perhaps that it is 20 yards shorter than the older model Zero without the DOA shaft and 10 yards longer than the older model Zero with the DOA shaft..... * So this is basically a dead head with a super long shaft ???? How much longer would the old Zero be with a DOA shaft ?

haha...i too have a mitchell....dont forget to put tape on the sole too, at least 2-3 pieces to prevent a bend mark and a few wraps around the hosel....the aluminum duct tape does wonders for this process if u are really concerned.

Short shafting a club is analogous to tip trimming a shaft to gain cpms and lower ball flight.....Shafting a shaft full insert into a beam head is about the same as tipping your shaft about half an inch......Provided JBeam has 1.75-2" at full insertion, it is safe to short shaft it half an inch, but i agree with nob, i would not shaft it less than 1.25"
