  9. No ...he wants to trade in his nice set of 302s for a beater set plus cash....he is a dirty panda !!!!1
  10. Those irons must be super soft....i know u take great care of your equipment ! Did those dings come from factory ?
  11. this might be my last nice club if oil continues to plummet
  12. what about Hutchy's head ???? dead mint at a crazy price !
  13. haha...sorry im grumpy...i own a lot of RIG and SDRL stock : (
  14. im not here to argue about which is better......the original zero had a great feel and sound and distance was as long as most of the top drivers. If the original Zero fits your swing, then that is the perfect club. It can be found at bargain prices for such a high quality machine.
  15. Im glad u asked ! It is 203g, very easy to play this driver at 44.5-45" without adding weight
  16. That is exactly it !!!! The Zero is pure and straight and long when hit on the button but the ping and r15 can be sprayed all over the face with good results ! The key improvement in the new Zero is how straight it goes and flight has been lowered as well.
  17. Im glad they brought that shaft to the retail market !
  18. Just got in my 2015 Epon Zero and took it out for a round yesterday. First impressions when i opened the box was that they have certainly upgraded the head cover, its a faux alligator and steel rivets. The limited edition has a satin silver cup face much like the original zero and the bottom is silver as well. Looks wise, not much has changed, i had several of the original zeros and this one looks very similar, its supposed to be larger but it is not very noticeable. Im just going off memory but the this head reminds me a bit of a Titleist 983K in terms of head shape and the face is nice and deep but not too deep. The bore is deep on this one, i think it was **2"( Update actual measurement is 1 5/8") . I installed a Speeder 757 evolution that had been tipped half an inch", combined with the deep bore, this combination is playing a bit stiffer than i would like, but acceptable. I found it interesting that the normal Zero is finished in black ip and the new limited edition is finished in what is normally a stock finish, silver. Took the driver to HalfMoonBay and since they don't have a driving range, it was off to the first tee......my first drive was low and right, it was trying to turn over but i guess i didn't draw it enough, missed the fairway and put it into a bunker. The club felt good, but i wouldn't say outstanding and the sound was not loud but not muted, just a average sounding driver. I used the driver throughout the round of golf and it was a similar story, the driver hits low long bullets that are unaffected by the wind. As for distance, i hit a couple balls much further than i have ever reached on the course, but then again i hit some short drives as well.......my old favorites are the Ping G30 LS and the R15, they are definitely shorter on pure hits but they are longer on avg to mis**ts. The Epon Zero will hit a 10/10 in distance when struck pure and yield a 7/10 when mis**t and 4/10 when poorly struck. The Ping and R15 are much tighter in that range, they hit between 7.5-9/10 when sprayed on the face. I found the Zero was very neutral,in terms of draw and fade, you can deftly rip your hands through it without hooking it and you no longer have to worry about the big right miss. Conclusion : Driver looks compact, definitely does not look like a full sized driver, very compact and powerful. This driver is dense, it pounds the ball and does not feel like a empty coke can. The flight is very low and if you normally play a 10 deg, you may not like this club at all......this driver can really perform in the wind, it doesn't move in the side wind and cuts through the wind like a skulled ball. I can't say the sound and feel are bliss, in terms of sound and feel i believe the old one was better but I'm just going off memory. This club is a definite improvement over the older Zen. Its not more forgivable but it is much much straighter and the right miss is gone. Ive had only one round with the driver and no range time so this driver review is first impressions only. If i had to play in a golf tournament, i would definitely grab my Taylormade R15 TP 460 !!!! But this driver has a chance to make it into my main bag.

looking for a mint condition 3 iron SUS head
  21. haha jim has all my 302s but i do have a minty set of af tours in copper
  22. U getting into the world of coppers buddy ????
  23. Ok, this is a very very good club at a great price. The club is not perfect and ken did his best to clean up the club and sell it. "Ding" is such a ambiguous word, it may mean a dent or it may be not visible to the naked eye, like a scratch on the paint from the head cover may be a ding. The advertisement, says the club is in very good shape and from what i see it is in great shape ! Not perfect, not dead mint but very good condition and a bargain at the price !
  24. ahhh....yes, that was the elephant in the room !
  25. it very well might be cultural...ive seen some very nice mint irons advertised as avg in some jdm BST forums while on some other USDM forums, i have seem browning and dents and dings advertised as 9/10 ????
