the finish on the black arrow is definitely nicer then the modart. With the spaces between the right bottom gear of the black arrow. doesn't seem right. It could be the angle of the picture or not, who know's. I wouldn't be surprise if both wedges came from one manufacturer but different "Master" grinders!?

Black arrow seems like a copy, if you look at the bottom right gear of the black arrow wedge, you can see the spaces between the gear. Modart looks spot on with the gears working together in the wedge pics!

The Epon 503's is definitely one of the most forgiving and longest irons out there, whoever buys this is gonna love the Epon technology behind this design. Great price as well, GLWS
