Was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction. Where to begin? What sort of information do u need? Very little experience on putter modification. Never adjust anything other than changing the grip. That experience show me that minor swing changes greatly affect the speed of putter. When I try to increase head weight, my putting stroke start to curve. With all the modification that gold factory have to offer, this is going to be a long research.

My Jbeam is 10.5!! And this combo did not balloon at all. What surprised me most was how forgiving this head is. Maybe it's 10.5 degree, not sure : ) don't have enough power for 9.5 anyway, never want to go there : D
  5. the zero and diamana x!!!! probably the best looking club ever!!

@ Chris , Jbeam is indeed a great head. Nice review on this by the way, you got me when u said this was one of the best feeling head u ever tried. However, this shaft seems to work well for me. Got the idea from reading one of Supo post about his 435 and stinger proto. Despite not being a fast swinger, I couldn't reisist the urge for some experimenting : ) Initially I tried cb 46 with this head, seem to get more distance with diamana x. From what I read here, high modulus carbon major benefit seem to be consistency, better timing, and feel. Don't know why i gain more distance, maybe it's diamana, seem to hit well with most of their model especially this one : ) will give the crazy another try though (royal deco/ special tuning 10.5) @ Jlee, Special tuning and the new kamui fw will keep him busy : )

Boy, what a perfect combo : ) A little background of my swing Swing speed: 100-103 Transition: real slow Style: swinger Current carry: 250-260 (ryoma v spec/wyvern) Bad shot: hook Finding Strenth: 1. The closest thing to an anti left go-to club 2. Feel, well...... better than most! 3. Love the flight of this thing ; ) boring? Yeah that's the word I think. 4. Ease of use. Contrary to my initial impression, this club is not difficult to hit at all. U don't need to be super fast to enjoy this. Weakness 1. Cant rival ryoma in terms of forgiveness. This is why I'm ordering special tuning also! T, if u r reading this, reply the mail man! Must be busy : )

Went to try this out yesterday : ) very beautiful, piece of art. Soft, very soft. However, I find it difficult to aim since there is no line in the middle. Also due to the design, I tend to curve my putting stroke.
  11. I try the old model of egg spoon iron and love them, easily one of the most forgiving! Wonder if the egg forged would maintain the same level of forgiveness and would improve on feel : ) waiting eagerly for ur review on this one T ; )
  12. Chris, which one is the dumbest : ) ? 702, Vg3, on-off forged, or egg forged. Really like to hear more about this egg forged, maybe a review soon please : )
  13. Best for me would mean most forgiving without sacrifice too much feel since I'm not a great ball striker : ) right now I'm using af 702 and it's the furthest and most forgiving iron I've ever hit. Is the egg forged and on off more forgiving? If so, I would really like to try : )
  14. I have always believed that certain type of head design are more suitable to a particular shaft bend profile than the other. The egg, I feel, did not work very well when I swap an ahina for the stock m43 shaft. It feels dead and was very difficult to hit, also had a lot of problem hitting it thin with this combo. (please note that the ahina work very well for me on the jbeam 425 10.5) From what I understand, the head design of this fw (egg) aim to achieve the same purpose as the ryoma design. So despite that it's easy to launch off the deck with this head, it produce a much more penetrating flight than other heads, imho. For this reason, I try to find a shaft that would launch a little higher to balance the overall ball flight : ) right now I'm using fubuki ax.
  15. @jobu I play mine at 46" and this is still the best combo for me. This shaft just made the head so much more easier to hit. The ball flight was not too high for me, 16 degree on launch monitor. (my ryoma is 9.5) @ Robbie most people, including some teaching local pro, that try to hit my ryoma couldn't hit it on the first try. Hell, I almost have given up myself : ) lucky I didn't, been hitting some of the longest drives of my life!
  16. From my personal experience, ryoma d1 v-spec can be quite difficult to hit in the beginning. It took me about 2 weeks and some shaft experimenting before I understand it's true capabilities. For me, ryoma is still the longest driver I've ever hit ( by a margin of 15-20yds).

Against the ahina and the cb 46, this shaft seem to produce the highest launch. Whats interesting is that it made this head much easier to hit for me personally. I'm a swinger with smooth transition with ss around 95-100 mph. Right now I'm trying to experiment with different shafts that have similar bend profile.

@ T, I agree since I'm currently gaming the wyvern with the ryoma. The cb 46, however, seem to enhance the prgr 455. Flight are much more penetrating while dispersion significantly reduced. @ Supo, maybe I should just take the leap : ) I probably try the cb 46 with the Jbeam 425 first before deciding my next move.

Hi all : ) this is my first post so would like to introduce myself a little. I live in Bangkok and have been playing golf seriously for the past 5 years. My handicap is around 12-13, swing speed 96-100 mph and have smooth transition. My current drivers setup are 10.5 prgr 455/ cb 46 6.7 and 9.5 ryoma d1 v-spec/ bassara wyvern. I found that the prgr/crazy combo was the easier combo to hit, launch higher with slight draw, 270 max. The ryoma however is the longest of the two, best feel ever also for me : ) just recently order the Jbeam 425 head only and are in the process of searching for the shaft. From what I read on the blog, crazy 435/ TJ 46 combo seem to produce good result for players with swing speed of 96-110mph. And from what I understand, the Jbeam 425 have similar profile to the older version of crazy 435 correct? If so, I would like to try to find a shaft with similar profile to the crazy TJ 46 (a lower end version) to try, before I buy this crazy shaft. Tario told me that the bassara wyvern, for example, is the lower end version of crazy royal decoration. The royal deco would produce more kick and distance with better feel, I suppose. So what is a lower end version of the TJ 46? any advice would greatly be appreciated, many thanks : )
  20. Hey Robb This is my first post but have been reading the forum for quite sometime. My swing speed is 100-105. From my experience, I had a prgr 455 10.5 shaft with diamana ahina 60 s flex. Ball flight was mid high with much lower spin. Dispersion also decreased. In my opinion, if u r looking for a lower launching, high kick shaft, ahina is a good choice. However, I try putting this shaft with ryoma 9.5 v-spec and did not work. My smash factor decreased and loose a lot of carry. Had the crazy 6.7 cb46 also installed but did not gain much distance.. Right now I shaft my ryoma with bassara w-series and seem to be working best in terms of distance and forgiveness.
