Up for sale us a very nice Basileus AAA 70S 2014 driver shaft. Shaft is in excellent condition, unmarked except for the tip prep and grip tape section. Raw length of over 43.5 inch. Will play to 45 inch tip to end of shaft (No grip) in a Ryoma Maxima head. Grip will add 1/8 inch. Will play to 45 1/8 in a Yamaha V203 plus grip of 1/8. Shaft is untipped. $400 $375 shipped from Australia.

Depends on how much u want to tip. Not sure u can tip more than happy 3/8 on taper tip shafts.

The Egg is quite a light head, with a very shallow insert depth. The shallow depth isn't good for tip active shafts. I couldn't hit the thing either until I added a bit of lead tape to bring up the SW and shafted it with a Whiteboard. Thing is a rocket launcher now.

That's a weight tip mate. Heat the hosel and gently tap it out. Use of thin nose pliers help too.

The stock shaft is the smoke Shimada HW120 from memory.
Interested in the shafts if you decide to split.

What is the launch on the Egg drivers? Would you guys recommend the 7 degree or 9 degree head?

How more $ are we looking at for a very good condition set?
I find that while JDM drivers perform similarly to USDM, feel so much better. For example the G30 would be about the same length as my Ryoma, but the Ryoma feels so soft off the face in comparison.
