Shaft weight vs. Flex.
Well, when I say the lightest, I don't mean low 60g or high 50g for everyone... for someone able to use 80g or high 70g on some days, they should have the skill to tone it down to a high 60g/ low 70g, etc. People forget golf is like lifting weights. Your body needs to recover, that is why "OFF" days exist. For example, that one night you were crushing it, swing felt effortless, 70g extra stiff shaft felt like a 60g, just one solid drive after another and then you wake up the next morning and you hit that same driver and you can barely get the ball to roll and hit the fence. If you want to hit long on a consistent basis, you have to EAT A LOT and rest before any shaft really comes into play. Some days you just have to accept you are sore and too weak to swing a heavier extra stiff shaft.

Shaft weight vs. Flex.
Shaft weight controls launch angle and tempo. Flex affects the feel of the swing and rhythm in the transition A LOT. If you go to far in flex or weight you will play miserable. It's much easier to tone it down than it is to keep up. Especially on the "OFF" days. Best advice, I've heard and would like to pass on regarding shafts, is to use the lightest and softest that gives you the best results.

905 tourstage irons build...
The modus shaft has really grown on me... sling shots are fun! I haven't tried the tour 130 but I have no complaints with the standard x flex (tour120) The PXi shaft is a completely different profile but the FEEL is fantastic! I wish the original PX had the PXi feel! A soft stepped PXi 6.5 might just be that wish come true.

905 tourstage irons build...
monacos sound more like modus, fair to say? more comparable to modus? PXi feels way better than the standard PX but I do hit the PXi high, not sure if it's due to the weight or spin... The feel is better than C taper as well. I definitely have the best results with the standard PX but it's just not as fun to play vs PXi or Modus.

Sweet! Bring on the pics! How do those monaco compare to PXi? I've been told they are basically the same shaft...

ust attas 4u, rombax type s
Anyone playing these shafts? I've been considering them since the beginning of the year but haven't been able to hit them in any shops... Any comparison VS GD or mitsubishi shafts would be extremely helpful! Thanks.

new shafts new deee. liights
No wonder you're a 4 handicap Supo... you practice with Shigeki!

new shafts new deee. liights
I've played both... kai li is definitely softer feeling throughout the swing. The B is more broomy, still a hint of softness, like a thawed marshmallow, lol. What I like about the B the most vs kai li is how tight the dispersion is. It's like a GD DI performance wise but with a better kick and feel.

PRGR nabla irons, driver
Is anyone playing these clubs? Can anyone compare feel, design VS yamaha, tourstage? PRGR id models also interest me. Thanks!

Looking for a 3 wood...
Yeah, TM is hard to beat in the performance category but I'm sick of the loud noise. I prefer a muted crispy head. I love the sound/feedback from tourstage woods. Just gonna go back to trusty tourstage. Thanks for the replies.

Diamana B series 70 x flex
I have a minty Diamana B series 70 x flex with R11s adapter up for grabs! It plays 44.75" in my R11s driver. This is a great shaft, just too heavy for my driver swing! Basically just took it out to the canyons, sort of speak... it's ready for someone's powerful driver swing! The only thing you can find wrong with it, is a minor paint scratch after it got regripped but it's not damaged in anyway. (shown in pictures) I'm the original owner and asking $210 shipped priority + insured. *USA only* MINOR PAINT SCRATCH BELOW THE "D" in DIAMANA:

Diamana B series 70 extra stiff w/ TM tip
Diamana B series 70 extra stiff w/ TM tip 77g, 2.9* torque, mid-high kickpoint Shaft is great and basically NEW! Plays 44.75" in my R11 driver. Shaft has not been tipped. Very lightly tested on the range. Hit 30-50 balls max! I am only selling it because it's a little too heavy for my swing. $280, OBO shipped priority w/ tracking and insurance! *USA only*

Tourstage X-Blade 707 - Any feedbacks?
Based on looks and previous old sets of tourstage irons I've gamed in the past... their x models are a fine product! If you were looking at epon personals, I would suggest getting the 905 cb instead of the 707. Now, If you are not limiting your choice to just tourstage irons, I have also owned yamaha irons and would suggest yamaha V forged non tour. The srixon Z725 are some solid looking attractive CB sticks too. I haven't tested these NEW models but I am sure you will not go wrong with either of these sets. I'm currently gaming blades and saving up for the NEW Z925! The shape of those fit my eye, but If I were considering a CB, I would go with one of those I mentioned above.

Newbie to JDM and looking for some help with irons...
Tima, I suggest you wait and save up for the srixon Z725. The yamaha V forged non tour model is also a great option. If you want to stick with Bridgestone, the 905 cb is good set as well. Be patient and save up for a home run!

Yamaha 2013 Tour Model and Inpres Lineup Info - Important
Just wait for supo67, to get his... at least I am. He'll be sure to give a lengthy review and compare it to almost everything everyone has or wants to play. TSG needs to hire him. I think he recently bought some hal sutton blades.
