I'm definitely not a long drive contestant. 112mph here, I can squeeze a few in play 114ish.

I didn't pick up a 703 but it looks very similar. Might bag the 707 when I see promised pics and vids from tsg.

I've hit razor fit and j40. Bridgestone is soft and long. Neither are easy to hit but the j40 gets out there much easier and feels much better me.

Looks like a Kai li, which is what I am switching on and off with my R11 Sounds perfect!

I've hit the Di plenty and currently hitting the k 70x. Di is definitely tighter feel and dispersion. The k series is smooth but it does get a liitle too loose for me. BB sounds like a winner.

So is this basically an r11 with endo face material? Anyone hitting it yet?

Didn't know you reviewed clubs for TSG, supo. Any chance of trying a KBS c Taper VS your HOLY sp blue on a monitor? Also, you compared the Fourteen DT 111 to the yamaha driver, which one? What shaft would you recommend in the DT 111?

KBS c TAPER! (just pulling your chain supo) Supo67 is passionate about those SP blues! You're really making me want to find a set to see what the fuss is all about but it's as easy to find as the satin Project X... Have you hit the satin PX or kbs C taper, supo?

Hey dodo, You should definitely test C taper Reg/ R+ VS ns pro 1050. Another thing to keep in mind is the head you're using. That will have a FAR GREATER effect on launch and spin. KBS tour is a better fit on blades. It's not about Japan Vs USA ppl. I've used japan driver and fw shafts all my golf life. NO COMPLAINTS! I've gamed yamaha(08 tours) and miura(mb-5003) irons, tourstage + fourteen everything. I understand the addiction. Ns Pro 1150 were my gamers before KBS tour came out. Nippon is just too torky and very inconsistent. KBS is a SOLID brand. Stable, great feel and PERFORMANCE. end of. Ishikawa is an amazing youngster, awesome putting and short game. Waiting for the day he is sure of his swing. I'm also a huge RORSfan.

The fitter calling nippon crap was a bit harsh but I am sure he was referring to the consistency in performance. Like I said, I'm not familiar with m3 or sp blue but I do know of girls on the lpga/ futures tour using ns pro iron shafts 850-950, dg sl, px 5.0... If jap golf is all you follow, Ai Miyazato + Chie Arimura do use nippon steel. I should clarify the nippon brand is better suited for slower "swingers" of the ball where as KBS/ PX/ DG is for higher swing speed / hitters of the ball. I don't understand what you mean by "hit from high" supo67, over the top? Ns pro is a more forgiving shaft, I give it that(assuming there is NO WIND). I'm not trying to make enemies on here, use what suits your game but don't knock a better shaft because you can't hit it. It's like saying GI irons are better than blades. I find it funny how much credit you guys give your equipment tho... Let me know what you think of KBS tour / c Taper when you're a scratch golfer or at least a 5 handicap vegaman, keep practiSing. No offense to those 10+ out there who are enjoying KBS shafts!

KBS c Taper is the answer to everyone who complained about the KBS tour being so high launch. No experience with M3, Orange proto or SP Blue but they sound like something in between nspro line and something like KBS tour. I don't recommend anyone the ns pro line unless they're girls. How you M3 / SP blue guys aren't using KBS c Taper R+/ S/ S+ or KBS tour makes no sense. Must be a ONLY USE what is made in japan mentality. KBS c Taper is a GREAT SHAFT!
