  1. On the way back from meeting at Las Vegas, I made a stop at Tokyo-Osaka for a week. Of course, I managed to go to a few golf shops. Man, I was in country of golf heaven. As I posted on where to try OnOff iron, it's easier than I thought. Many golf shops carry OnOff. In case you need me to recommend one - BIC Camera. Well, it's a mall not a camera shop. Normally, it has like 7 floors. I visited the one at Shinjuku. Unfortunately, the RED was sold out! Anyway, I love my new XXIO7. For high handicappers like me, I really recommend it. Easiest irons I even touched my hands on. Easier than my previous set (EPON 702). Referring to my another previous post, my HS was 85MPH but I hit Ryoma Premia + RoyDec only 160 yards.... well, it's my bad swing. After working on it, it became to 180 yards carry - still not satisfying. This time, I went all the way to Crazy factory in Adachi, Tokyo to let them do fitting for me. I hit many shots, taking almost 3 hr to finish, even took a break during the session. During the break, I met long drive pro of Crazy. He hit 300 shots (carry only) in front of my eyes. He used prototype 531 X-flex, and his HS was 62 m/s. Wow. For my result, I got prototype 513 with SR-flex. My HS became almost 92. My best shot was 220 yards carry (235 totally). Well, it's so-so distance for most of you guys here, but I never hit that far in my golf life. Below is something I found - fitting is real. It's the best way to buy golf equipments. In case no chance to do something like visiting the manufacturers' shops, consult TSG here. - I played R-flex all along... even nearly decided to go to R2 flex... however, it turned out to be my best fitted is SR for driver shaft (maybe depends on which brand too) - For me, I hit Crazy 435II much straighter than Crazy450 head. - Yesterday, I hit my own Ryoma head with this 513 shaft, it's almost 20 yards longer than the old shaft. No shot went 220 yards carry as I did in Tokyo, but yesterday I had been exhausted with something before. - For those who want to visit Tokyo, estimate the cost for each meal at 800yen unless you plan to eat instant noodles. Yes, fitting is magic. I just went to Crazy factory in Tokyo on Tuesday and got amazing result. Will post it after I got back to Bangkok. Got a flight to catch tomorrow. Mark.

  5. --SOLD-- 5i-PW of EPON AF-702 fitting with graphite shafts GD TourAD65 the SW is C9-D0 and the total weight of 5i is at 382g. The heads are like new coz I haven't taken them to the course much. You won't see remarkable scratch. Considering to keep it as my reserve set, but my gf told me to sell it. Asking at $1,250 shipped. Pls let me know if any question. Mark
  6. Jeff idrive, what's your HS? Thanks Mark
  7. Prefer 5i-PW. Thanks. Mark
  8. Thanks so much Chris and Tario, - No OnOff in my country so I'll try RED in Tokyo as mentioning earlier. Besides Ebisu GC, do you think I can try it at Daimaru or somewhere else? - Tempting to change to one of irons you guys suggested; however, I'm using AF-702 which is already forgiving already. You think it's even easier/better? - Can you recommend me graphite shaft also? My driver SS is 85mph. Mark
  9. Right. I know Red is easier but wanna know from guys who tested both how much different. Hope I have a chance to try both in my Japan trip.
  10. Hi Chris, among all JDM irons, which one you think easiest to hit? From your post in another thread you said OnOff Forged is very easy to hit but comparing to RED, you think I'll see the difference in term of forgiveness? Thanks all responses to this thread so far. This forum is very good. Mark
  11. Hi, thanks! You meant Ebisu golf club? Seems so luxurious from the website. About the graphite shafts to match this head - anyone got any advice? Anyone using 2012 Bassara iron shaft here? For OnOff head, you guys think Forged is already easy enough or no-skill guy like me should go with RED? Thanks. Mark
  12. Hi, I'm using EPON AF-702 with Tour AD65 flex R. What you guys think of any other irons+shafts combination to make my golf life even easier? I like my current set up but if any better would be good. I'm thinking about OnOff after reading many threads here on this. If I go this way, you think just Forged is easy enough? Or I should go with OnOff RED? About the shaft, do you think which one I should game with? new Bassara iron or anything else? Thanks in advance for all response. Have a good day. Mark
  13. Wow, good to be a member of this forum. Seem to be either standard midsize or Absolute based on the weight I want. The texture makes them different. My question is how different on size between these Iomic and Scotty grips? I don't have a chance see the Iomic yet. Thanks. Mark
  14. Hi all, I got Scotty Cameron Studio Select NP2 but hate cord grip so changed it to the black rubber dancing Scotty of Studio Design. The grip weight drops from 64g. to 56g. causing swingweight a bit too heavy and out of my comfort zone. Can anyone recommend me same feel (smooth rubber) but with the weight about 64g.? Thanks. Mark
  15. Yes, that's what the shop told me. For this club, my friend just placed an order for me when I said I wanted it (but I paid him later.....). The japanese shop in Singapore, not TSG for this one.

I saw a promotion from my credit card for standard set up at 42,000 Thai Baht. Not sure it's indeed cheap or not. Just fyi Mark
  17. Hey guys, Thanks for all inputs. I 100% trusted this configuration so buying without having a hand on it before. Maybe I'd be better off with R2 flex but the result shouldn't be like that I agree. It's all my swing as I said but it's ok to hit down on all clubs I mean same swing for all but set up will help us hit about way up for driver. Tiger at his peak also did the same. Anyway, will post the result in a few weeks. Crazy said I can exchange the shaft if I want to but shouldn't be the case. Easy guys. I'll do my best to make use of this great club/shaft after paying $$$ Mark
  18. Hi Tario, My grip is 50g and SW is D0. Good to here that nothing wrong with the shaft, taking out one factor. So, now it's my swing. Yes, I hit down the same for all clubs and let the set up make it different. Thanks all useful answers. I'll post it again after fixing my swing. Mark
  19. Hi all, I put Crazy royDeco R flex normal length (46") to my Ryoma Premia 10.5, along with standard Ryoma grip which is 50g. Head and total weight is 193g. and 295g., I got 225 as CPM. However, I hit it only 160yrd. either very low or balloon. My SS is 80 MPH. I know most part should be my swing right now, but can anyone confirm that the shaft I got is normal spec of Crazy? I mean 225 should be the CPM I got? Thanks. Mark
