  1. This sounds pretty good. I didn't like the old F2 for a lot of the reasons you mentioned so I'm anxiously awaiting your 3w review! Thanks!!
  2. That finish looks great on these.

Hey buddy! I forgot what the 2g18s protos turned into.
  4. You're right. Their lofts were much more traditional than modern which seemed weird for Yururi to do after the Flatbacks. So yes, they were short competed to any modern lofted MB.
  5. Looking forward to your review of the new Ryoma fw!
  6. I own the Yururi Flatbacks and fully expected the PDGs to be even better. They were absolutely beautiful to look at but surprisingly they had a horrible feel to me. I'm not sure what it is but I'd guess it's the coating. They were the most "clicky" feeling club I'd ever hit. The ones I tried were the first year model so maybe (hopefully) Yururi has changed their coating material since then. Playability wise, I thought they were excellent and liked the sole interaction even better than the Flatbacks. But I guess after experiencing the feel of the Flatbacks it now takes something very special to trigger a good response from me. I actually think the feel is the reason they reintroduced the Flatbacks after the PDGs were out for a year or two. All just one man's opinion.
  7. Where'd you go? The friend that I posted this for has tried several times to initiate negotiations on one of your shafts but you haven't replied. Are they still for sale?
  8. I think most drivers today are anti slice. But I'm definitely one of those guys that fights the left. Not that I'm a hard hitter anymore, but I'd bet most guys of that type struggle with the left more than the right.
  9. I won't do nets again. The tarps that they use in simulators are the way I'd go if I did it again. If you're a decent ball striker you're going to hit the same small area with your shots and nets very quickly give out with little to no warning. I don't remember the brand mat I used but there are several brands that better simulate turf/divots. They allow you to use real tees and give you much better feedback but more importantly they're softer on the joints. It doesn't seem like much but if you start hitting balls on a regular basis, the cushioning of the mat becomes very important.
  10. When you say "smaller foot print with a better shape", how much smaller? The old one was good but much too big for my taste. Can you possibly do a side by side with the old ones we can get a better idea of the newer size/shape?
  11. I use 8 iron shafts in my wedges that match my set. It keeps me consistent and plenty of spin if that's your thing.
  12. Chris, any chance you'll share with us some of the data collected with your fitting software and high speed cameras? I'd LOVE to see that kind of stuff!!!!!!!!
  13. How much for the prototype fw?
  14. I know you have something just lying around...
