I can easily concede better feel and same stability...but more distance? That's a statement many would fear to make.
  2. Totally agree. I play 4 wedges and although I'd never give up my 3w, my lofts are set around the modern 46* PW. My biggest golf wish is that companies would start offering a 50* gap/approach wedge to match the set.
  3. The anser style has been ripped off for so long it's hard to call anyone out anymore...
  4. Looked way better in the satin-like finish the original pics suggested. I'm surprised to say that I'd try the 316s before these...
  5. I think 46* is the new standard for players irons but there are still some 47/48* PWs being made out there...

I cringe each time I reshaft her because the Quadra FEX WBQ works so well...but a boron shaft is about the only combo I still want to try in my 435. I know many disagree but I've always said this head is as forgiving as any other, well maybe except the V-spec...barely. Glad there's at least one person who agrees with me! Have you hit the 535 yet to compare?
  7. These look very good as a player's CB. It's funny how a 46* PW is now considered weak. It doesn't seem like that long ago when we were shocked to find out how strong some of the blade PWs were at 46* instead of the traditional 48*.
  8. It still sounds like there were some positives to take from the round. Nice work ;)
  9. But I liked the drawings!
  10. Rattles are typically nothing more than extra epoxy that has separated from the assembly. When I cracked my 435, along with a loss of distance, I noticed a distinct difference in sound before the crack was detectable.
  11. Congrats nob and looking forward to some good news today!
  12. Because of the specific information provided in his original post. The ideas are well intentioned and possibly relevant since the bottom line is that he wants to eliminate problems in the later parts of his round and improve his scores...
  13. Hopefully you're hydrating AND snacking throughout the round. When I need to play well I avoid a large snack or meal at the turn and make sure I'm eating a little bite of something every hole. There's a noticeable difference for me mentally and physically when I do this compared to eating nothing, eating a snack all at once, or having a meal at the turn.I'd never want to talk you out of trying new clubs (that's why we're here!) but this helps me when I'm concerned with scoring well for the entire round.

You? Bore us? Lol!!! Love your stories and gear! Get on with the details already! And I want to know how the Masda grip compares to others as well!
  15. If the problem is always on the back 9, may I ask what your mid 9 routine is? Do you stop at the turn for a break, drink, snack, etc?
  16. An old favorite I wore today. I don't wear it much anymore but I just can't bring myself to sell it either...
  17. These are right up my alley right now! I noticed that price but I was on a golfing hiatus at the time. I actually sold a few things off that I shouldn't have. :(
  18. Iirc, Epon lists offset numbers instead of face progression so the P2 has more. I hope I'm wrong!
  19. I definitely have to try these asap!
  20. It's growing on me...
  21. I'm being told just the opposite. Was your little birdie possibly talking about the Nabla Tours instead of the ID BLs?
  22. Waiting on this specific info myself in my earlier thread. There's some positive feedback on page 2 if you haven't seen it yet.
