  1. Amazing! Apparently the honeymoon phase works with new paint jobs just as well as it does with entirely new clubs. I was absolutely killing this thing today. All GPS measured, most over 300yds, two over 330, and this bomb... (Played from the back tees)
  2. Very nice! What is the reason for not flushing the heel side backweight on the zen?
  3. That's what I'm looking for in the hopes that it plays similar to my old Titleist Elk forged. Did you get a chance to lie it open? How does it set up for flop shots? And one last question, is 58 the highest loft I can get or can I get a 60? Btw, I'm ready to order if you want to email me an invoice...
  4. Thanks! Does the pro also have minimal onset like the 2?

Slight high toe shots give me an extra 30+ yds compared to middled shots on the v-spec!
  6. Thanks guys! I gave him a couple of ideas as to what I wanted but left him with a green light on his artistic expression. It was a total surprise and I was fully satisfied with the outcome. Next up will be my hybrid and then 5w!
  7. I wanted to stick with the Hawaiian theme and my buddy came through big time with this and got it to me today before our charity scramble. I had to take a few crappy pics just post up but the pearl paint really pops in person!
  8. Damn, I knew this wouldn't last until I got home from work!
  9. Damn...can't even get a comparo with the stock shaft!
  10. I know this isn't the right place for discussion but please start a thread letting us know what you went with and the results. I can't imagine my zen getting any better...but I'm still a ho at heart!
  11. Anyone that wants to try one of the best yami fw's for a great price needs to snap up that iFF!
  12. Can't believe you're selling it. Did you ever get to try the ff shaft in her?
  13. I'm playing the same 5w and the stock graphite design shaft is shockingly good at 63g. I like heavy head, heavy swingweight and this set-up matched my 3w surprisingly well. I had a 75g shaft ready to go in this and decided to play a round with it as is first. That was several months ago and I now have no intentions of messing with the set-up. With that said, I'd use the same weight shaft for the 5 and 7...

    Nice!
  15. As soon as you can give me details and differences I'm ready to start with a 58 or 60*!
  16. i know, zero user testamonials and i've been waiting for the tsg review for some time now! i wish it came in a 60* or 61*!

  18. any more info or reviews on this. i'd also like to see a straight picture of the sole. If you don't have time, send me the 58* and i'll write a thorough review!
  19. geez, it may be the wedge that that's been calling to me for some time now! the only one i've seen with onset... http://www.tourspecgolf.com/product_info.php?products_id=5253
  20. I love Ping...but this is for my jdm bag ;)
  21. I'd love to see those in person! My only single complaint with the 61* Elk was that it would blind me with reflection of the sun more often that you would think, so raw wedges are now an extremely desired trait of mine. Any other wedges come to mind?
  22. Wow, I may have to look on the bay for one of those just to give it a whirl! I also have the 54* DL III and while it too is solid, I never liked it as much as the Elk. I think part of the reason (as with any wedge I've tried since) may be the lack of onset.
  23. Find me the jdm equivalent of this old gem! I brought her out for a round today in a fit of nostalgia and good grief is she still the best wedge for my swing ever. I can play any shot from inside 70yds with it, and I mean ANY! I played this wedge for so long and already had her refinished, but as you can see she's just worn out. Besides being worn in to my swing, part of the reason I think I play it so well is that (as you can hopefully see in the pics) it appears to have the slightest bit of onset. So are there any jdm offerings that anyone can think of that might be able to compare to this old classic?
