  1. Hahahahahaha, vanila01? I thought it was vanla01.......
  2. Compared to the Denon doing the driving it was night and day. Much better control ofthe speakers and the sound was a lot more immersive. I imported it from the US and thought I could hook it up to an external step down transformer. No luck. I had to have the internal transformer changed before I could use it :( I had to down size the 4.2's to the 1.2's as the house I lived in wasn't big enough. Loved those 4.2's. They had such a wide and enveloping soundstage, great highs, fantastic mid-range and plenty of bass. They had the upgraded Rosetta Burr finish compared to the 1.2's which were black ash. Great to hear that others here are audio/videophiles.
  3. Nice set-up Steve. Best I had was a multi channel set-up consisting of Seleco CRT projector, 6ft screen, Denon CD/Super Audio/DVD player, Denon receiver, Krell 5 channel power amp, Kef Reference 4.2 front, Kef Reference 200c and Kef TDM45 dipoles. Didn't need a sub as the room was fairly small. Nothing left now.........
  4. You have Personals as well as the Yamahas and PRGRs? I thought you said you'd moved the Personals on to someone else? Mate you're right, they are "sicker"! Good work. I'm gonna have to come along to The Belfry in April for a blast at the range. Bring the your arsenal.....
  5. Me too! What shafts mate?
  6. Very nice Steve. I love the look of the Betty and the wedges. Very nice. Looking forward to pictures of all 3 bags!
  7. I've tried the conforming version of the Kamui Works Ray driver. It's still the best performing driver I've tried. One thing let it down and that was its sound on impact was muted. Like hitting a tin can. I've read on these forums that the non-conforming version is louder. This would be my ideal driver. To comment on what you're looking for, I would say, square; can be specced open, closed or square. On looks; kind of traditional looking large pear shape. Feel; awesome. Very soft and elastic off the face. Distance; furthest I've hit.
  8. I've read that some people keep the length the same as the PW and just let the loft of each club make the difference in distance. Some people continue with 1/2" increments from 5i to LW, or some do 1/2" from 5i to PW and then 1/4" increments from GW to LW. I think it's something only you and your fitter can come up with after some trial and error. What length were you playing your onoffs and did they work for you?
  9. Oh jeez. Yet another stunner. These or the DWD wedges. More pictures when you can tae ;)
  10. You know that you HAVE to upload pictures. It's the law! Lol
  11. Come on then idrive, show us your designs. Don't be shy.............
  12. Blue or yellow for me. I need something to distract peoples attention just before I hook it in to the trees!
  13. Dude, those wedges are SWEEEEET!! Hope they work out for you.
  14. How do the labospec play compared to the crazy 's' flex? What's their weight? Is one 38" and the other 38 1/2"? Would they be a good match in a driving iron or compact hybrid to the i-10's in my irons? Damn if I'd known about these earlier! Lol
  15. I love the safety net of the last sentence. Nice one bogey, A true 'ho' if ever I saw one!
  16. Some of us Brits say it too. You Americans are sooooo behind the times.......... :)
  17. Thanks for that jay. I've never tried the x100's so I can't compare.
  18. Thanks Dale. As an indication, shipping to Oz should be around $60
