  1. Anyone tried a Fuji Motore Speeder VC? They seem quite cheep relative to other JDM shafts on the used market. Perhaps an 8.2 could be the ticket.......
  2. Hahahahaha Stew you're supposed to be giving me advise, not advising yourself! I've had the FW80 in an Egg v2. It was a 7.4 flex which was mid height flight with great feel. The shaft was great but I need something a little lower with similar feel. Would an FW80 in a 7.7 or 8.2 fly lower with similar feel. I don't mind the flex being stiffer. Or should I save my dough and get a Blueboard in an 83x?
  3. Out of that list I'd choose the Yamahas. Give yourself more headaches by adding RomaRo and PRGR to your list!
  4. Golf pride 2g wrap. I have Iomic x grips on my irons but I prefer the stickier 2g wrap
  5. Lets have some more pictures when you're ready
  6. Let me know how it goes compared to your ilima
  7. Errr.....have you bought the wedges?
  8. I think the crown without the Dragons head and the writing would look fantastic. The rest of the design is great and I love the colours.
  9. Is it low launch? Really would like low launch
  10. Accra eh? More research. Dale which Accra did you have and do you still have it? Hahahaha Carlo, I wish I could read what you've typed?!?
  11. Ha ha ha hope it goes well. Struggling to find any of these on the used market to have a look at, especially here in the UK.
  12. I think it's $550 for head and $275 for the shaft. Could be wrong though
  13. DaleUK has an onoff 50* for sale
  14. I reckon Yamaha are coming out with 2 new blades and an adjustable driver..............I'll get my coat :)
  15. I think you'll find that you need the new Yamaha irons to go in to a new Yamaha bag.........I can then have your bag!
  16. I knew you couldn't keep it a secret for very long, hahahaha
  17. Where was you last month when I needed this?!? Looks great mate, and your Akira. What shaft did you play in both heads and which head was the softest feeling to you?
  18. Ya cheeky bugger :) Yamaha all the way. If only I could order the new Yams............
  19. Your Epon is a BARGAIN. That won't be here for long mate. If only I had the cassshhhhhhh. GLWS
  20. Thanks for all you input guys. Fubuki removed from the equation. I thought that the 9003x would have been the lowest launch of the lot?!? I can't get hold of a BB cheap enough :( Having checked out the Diamanas, I was thinking that the Ahina/WB was probably the 1 to go for. Hmmm the Roddio. More research required. Have you gamed either of them vegaman?
  21. Thanks mikey. What's the feel and ball flight like?
  22. All. I'm picking up a Yamaha 14* head at the end of this month (thanks Jay) and I'd like some advice on what to shaft it with. This club won't be used much off the deck, so it's primary use will be hitting tight fairways off the tee. My preferences in order are: 1, very tight dispersion. I'm not looking for distance. 2, I want it to have a soft feel (Soft butt?). 3, remove the left side (tip stiff?). 4, low launch and low spin (low torque?). 5, mid 70's to mid 80's weight. I want to play it at 42" or 42 1/2". I can't afford the highend (Crazy/Quadra etc), but I can possibly get hold of GD 9003x, GD DI 7x, WB 73x/83x, BB 73x/83x, RB 73x/83x, Ahina 70x/80x, Kai'li 70x/80x, Attas T2 7x or a tour issue Fubuki 'K' series 80x. My SS is around 107ish, and I can turn the ball over fairly easily (or is it that my swing is too flat. Lol) Please recommend others, but let me know what you think. Thanks Ian.
