  1. By the way, you'll need to put your username in the photo's alongside the clubs you're selling.
  2. Would you say that the sole grind looks similar to an OnOff forged 2013? The cavity is very Yururi esque, which is a good thing. Good job.
  3. Got this in a trade last month. I haven't used a 3w in years as they've been way too close in distance to my driver. Unfortunately I couldn't resist trying out this new jBEAM as it came with a Dia X, which I think is a great shaft in the right head, and I'd never tried it in a FW before. I would describe the head as mid-size. Face is also mid-size too. Gives me confidence of Botha the tee and fairway. Looks stunning in white. This was a custom order at 15* rather than the standard15.5*. First initial range session went well, but had a tendency to pull it. This would be down to my crappy swing when not warmed up, but could also be that this is a straight install, no tipping for a 3w. When I have the swing dialled in, this shaft allows me to 'go after it', and combined with this beautiful looking jBEAM, gives a wonderful ball-flight. Very penertrating, even with range balls. Out on the course yesterday, a quick test over 9 holes. Without giving a hole by hole account, this combo is staying, BUT I either need to warm up on the range first or possibly tip the shaft. Slight tendency to go left, but after the first 3 holes were out of the way, my swing had warmed up and was in full flow. Such a great feel and mid height ball-flight. Massive distance with tight dispersion. Compared it to my Driver on the 8th and 9th holes. I really need to work on my driving, as the 3w stayed with it........or get a jBEAM/Dia X combo as my driver. Lol. Recommend.
  4. Definitely take a 5w over a 18* di. Great off the tee and fw.
  5. How are those Crazy shafts in the Yururi's? In the back ip bag, is the Kuro Kage a Proto?
  6. That shaft spun too much for me. I got on better with the Kuro Kage Proto or the XT as it's now known as.
  7. Very nice set. Can you list the specs?
  8. Fair play for going through the questionnaire and stumping up the cash, but for me, to have slightly better distance and slightly worse dispersion I'd be a little disapointed. I'd take the dispersion over distance. Hope it works out better for you over the next few rounds.
  9. Hi. What's the head weight? Does it come with the adjustment wrench? Can the face angle be set to square or open? Is the face ok with a swing speed of 105mph? Thanks, Ian.
  10. I never got on with the t.388. Probably wrong shaft, but I didn't like the sound either, especially compared to Yamaha drivers.
  11. Can you give us an idea of what shafts(make and model) you've used in the past, i.e, Diamana/Graphite Design/Fujikura etc?
  12. Hi and welcome. Are you looking for a 'new' or 'used' driver/shaft combination? Getting a new set up on your budget might be difficult, but there'll be loads to choose from on the used market. By the way, some of the people on these forums have English as their mother tongue and couldn't type a post as legible as yours, including myself, so you've got no problems there!!! :)
  13. Going to get some of these Vice balls.
  14. Great bag. Whats the thinking behind the di at 18* and rescue at 19*?
  15. Can't go wrong with the z-stars
  16. Not found a keeper in any particular model, but a manufacturer I keep going back to with regard to drivers is Yamaha. Tried most of the V series and love them. I think I'll always have one model hanging around with me for the forseable.
  17. Thanks for the info nob. Struggling to find Miyazaki shaft info on the link though. Any idea how they are made and what of exactly? As you say, great products but I guess they are too usdm to get much of a mention on here. May have to try one in an fw.
  18. Are these actually made in Japan? Says so on the shaft but I'm curious if Sri Sports(Srixon/Cleveland) really do make them in house in Japan. Really bombing my Yamaha V203-Kusala Indigo 72s combo. Slightly better feel than my previous 535-Bangvoo, but I'll put this down to the Endo forged Yamaha head. Similar mid ball-flight too and just as far.
