I have the 5w and 7w in this head with the stock shaft in the pictures. Very easy to launch but I want to bring the height down a little. I also have the newer 2011 version of the 3w with a Kai'li 70x playing at 42". I get my ideal launch with this combo. At some point I will put a Kai'li in the other woods. I haven't tried an X in the wood but I have tried a 60s in a Launch Lab. Didn't like the feel or ballflight.

Mikey you're right about the stock shaft. It's very good and holds up well. I need to game them more to really assess them but so far the only thing I can criticise is the slightly higher ballflight compared to the Kai'li.

Hi all. I have a Yamaha XV FW 14* 3w with a Diamana Kai'li 70x playing at 42" and absolutely kill it off the tee. I love the mid-height ball flight, I love the sound, I love the distance and I definitely love the consistency. The only thing I can complain about is that I would like a slightly softer feel. Because of this 3w I searched around and came across some cheaper/older I.F.F. tour model Yamahas in the 17* 5w and 20* 7w so I snapped them up. My question is, to get a matching swing weight and all of the above, should I shaft the 5w and 7w with a Kai'li 70x and/or 80x at 41" and 40" respectively?

For sale is the most gorgeous looking driver ever made............the Epon Zero. Both the head and shaft are in mint condition. You all know that the loft is 10.5*. Near the heal it has the word 'Demo'. This is very faint and can't be seen at address. Please see the photograph. SOLD

Thanks for the kind words guys :) Straight swap for a nice JDM cart/trolley bag. Has anyone got a FW shaft like a Kai'li or Roddio in the 70 or 80g range and in 'x'? Has anyone got a Roddio i-10 in 's' or 'sx' flex for my 4i? Lets talk. Don't let the hozel size put you off. A good club builder can put some shims in for you no problem :)

Hozel size is .370 as I had my Roddio i-10 graphite shafts in them. As far as i know they are forged in Japan by Srixon, as Srixon do forge their own clubs........except the latest models which are Endo forged. Need these gone people. Come and get 'em. $165 to me + shipping. They're all boxed and ready for a new home.

These 458's are pretty good looking but sound terrible in my opinion. Would prefer a Lambo Gallardo. The V10 sounds awesome.
