  1. Kyoei MB Irons 4-PW (Mirror) with Modus 120 Stiff shaft. Chrome Mirror is beautiful. A few people at the range said "Good looking clubs". Chris picked Modus 120. My Crazy wedges also have these shafts.
  2. My set of Kyoei with Modus arrived yesterday. Went to a driving range, tried 8 – 5 irons. I have been playing golf for a long time. These are the best irons that I ever have, are better than Epon 302. Kyoei irons are very soft, accurate, forgiving, better distance than 302, so easy to hit and wonderful feeling. Thank you to Chris and Jacque for all your help. David
  3. I take it. I live in California. David
  4. Just got TS358 with Hashiri today. I have been playing this game for a long time. TS358 is so easy to hit. It has to be the best 3 w that I ever had.
  5. Chris: Can you compare ONOFF TS358 with J-Beam RX-FW Muso 75FW ? Thanks!
  6. mr0857: Do you like the shaft that comes with your 358? Anyone use this Shinari shaft on your ONOFF? I have a PRGR egg with M-43. The shaft is a bit soft for me.
  7. I have been playing golf for a long time. My 302 that I got from TSG is the best set of irons that I ever have. Thanks to Chris for the bud Mackenzie blue bag. Golfers around here love my bag. They have no knowledge of TSG equipment in my bag.
  8. Chuck, I had this setup Ryoma V-Spec 9.5* Crazy CB80II). Just sold the CB80II. My issue with this shaft was my swing speed is low. The only way was teeing high with the driver face really open and hit really hard. It was very difficult to keep doing that all the times. CB80II torque 7.4 torque is 3.2. Compare to Tour DI 6 – CB80II torque should be set lower than that. There is no standard for torque so before buying Crazy shaft, ask Trio or try the shaft. Wth Tario advice - I got Crazy LY-01 Long Hot Black and I like it much better. Hope this help!
  9. After playing with Crazy shafts, will not go back to graphite shaft.
  10. This Crazy CB-80 II Flex 7.7 is too stiff for me. It has not been tipped with low torque. Length 43 3/4 inches. Asking $395 + shipping. Crazy's CB-80II Nero Shaft is very similar to the precious CB80II. It is more forgiving than the Black TJ-80 and plays a tad softer but is still for the aggressive and fast swinger wanting to keep the left side out of play. Full length 80t carbon and a high speed active tip area create maximum speed and distance with low spin and top notch direction. 7.5-7.9 - Stiff/X-Stiff 110-120mph Please see the link below for more description. http://www.tourspecg...roducts_id=3185 Please send email if you are interested.
  11. Since my hobby is arts, I like those designs and color of those shafts. I wish my LY HOT looks like one of those. Black and gold looks great. Like Tario stated " Red base and silver accents" also looks good.
  12. Robbie Thanks! I take the invitation, will email you to see the best time for you. David
  13. Robbie, With your experiences with LY-01 and LY-02 - would you recommend that? Mid-kick point and light weight shaft will be for me. Would you recommend any low torque Crazy shaft?
  14. I have been reading about Crazy shafts for about 5 months now. At the present time, my Ryoma V-spec 9.5* is equipped with Crazy CBII 80 Nero 7.7 (stiff/Extra Stiff). The shaft is a bit too stiff for me and I do not get any distance. It does not matter how hard or slow I swing – max is 240 yards. I can hit my PRGR spoon 15* stiff the same distance. I really like Crazy shaft – best shaft I ever have. My friends with single handicap can hit balls 300 yards with my driver. My decision to buy CBII shaft based on GD DI experience which was a wrong. I have been reading (TSG) about longest yard 01 7.4 – Stiff Torque is 5.0. Does anyone who has experienced with LY01, has issue with flight control of those balls? Like Suo67 said “i hated having 12 feet of overhang out the back of my hands. This is a really strong shaft made for distance”. My past experience with a high torque is to guide the driver head to hit the ball at the sweet spot. When missing the sweet spot – ball will go every direction. I also read about LY02 (Robbie has great article about LY02) am not sure if it is for me. What is your estimated swing speed: 100 How far do you hit your driver total distance: Ryoma CBII 240 yards – with the stock shaft 260 yards. My PRGR spoon 15* distance is 240 yards. How far do you hit your 7 iron: 150 Max Are you a smooth or aggressive swinger: Very smooth and easy. What is your tempo like, slow, average or fast: Average – fast. What is your bad shot ie slice, push, pull, hook: Right I would appreciate any recommendation of a shaft (Crazy if possible) that you all may have. I know it is not easy. Thank you David
  15. I did not see R11s V2 driver at the Sacramento golf demo. Tried R11s - did not knock my socks off. They list R11s V2 on eBay. http://golf wrx/foru...r11s-9-v2-head/ http://bsg/Invision/...on-2-prototype/
  16. I thought I share my view about Crazy shaft. When I purchased Ryoma V-Spec 9.5*, I thought the stock shaft was adequate but ball flight was low and spin was high. Kept thinking that Crazy shafts are so expensive – one day I said “heck with it”. So, I got a Crazy CBII shaft for a few days now. Played one round and visited my local driving range a couple times. What do I think about the combination – love it. My Ryoma with Crazy makes my old R11 (Tour Di) a dog. I hit balls longer this morning – need learn the best way to hit it. It feels really good hitting (not slamming) balls - ball flight is higher, spin is low and easy to control. It is a most forgiving driver that I have ever known.
  17. Thanks much for all your helps especially Robbie.. Blader-x: I will send my next reshafting project to Goodsie. Google does not seem to find Goodsie golf. Appreciated it if you provide me with URL or address with phone. Supo67: shinbashi golf science (Tokyo) is bit far from me. However I would love to visit Tokyo again one day. Ryoma with Crazy CB 80II shaft is the best driver that I ever have. I missed fairway once cause I tried to kill the ball. Now, I am looking for a 3 wood, wish I could try PRGR Spoon 15*. I wonder if anyone put Crazy on Spoon. David
  18. Robbie, Who is Joe Kwok in Bay Area? I called Fairway golf (guess they are Japaneses) yesterday. They said they can reshaft my driver for me but they do not know Ryoma. Like you said, hope they do not mess it up. David
  19. Too all, I live in California. Does anyone know a golf professional who can reshaft my Ryoma v-spec? My Ryoma driver - Tour Ad stock needs to be reshafted with a Crazy CB 80II shaft that I just purchased. It would be great if I can find someone around Bay Area of San Francisco so I can go wait for it. Thank You.
  20. I posted questions about Ryoma V-spec driver above. it arrived last week - my comments are below: Hit balls on a range - love it. I am so glad that I selected 9.5* with stiff stock shaft. It is the most forgiving driver that I ever have. Meticulously made. Appreciate the craftsmanship. Unlike those that make in China. Has anyone upgraded Ryoma V-spec with Quadra Fire Express or CRAZY CB-80II NERO? How do you like those shafts? Thanks for any of your comments!
  21. I just asked Tario on how to get one of this Special tune. My main question is which loft 9.5 or 10.5 degree. I hit Taylormade driver 9 degree. Titlest driver 9.5 degree. Which loft should I get for Ryoma? Thanks!
