RomaRo packaging.
It's incredible. PS the tour select fairway is the closest thing to persimmon I've ever come across in a metal wood. Then again I don't have the experience most you guys do.

RomaRo packaging.
Anyone been in awe of the packaging that RomaRo sends their gear in? Everything I've gotten from them is like opening King Tut's tomb. But more playable.

2013 Flavor Trip Tokyo & Beijing!
MoreBeerBetterGolf replied to TourSpecGolfer's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI'm more the steak kinda guy but can appreciate the artwork that went into that cuisine. Wagyu just means "Japanese cow" but also specifically refers to several similar breeds of cattle that come from Japan and have a high level of intramuscular fat/tenderness. The ones you see them feeding beer to and hand bathing etc. I'm acquaintances with a businessman who owns what I believe is the largest herd of Wagyu cattle in the US, in the Sandhills of Nebraska. He supplies nearly all the domestic Wagyu beef for most of North America. I thoroughly enjoy a bone in Wagyu ribeye medium rare. Although it also can be too rich for me if I have too much.

4x4 Junkie
MoreBeerBetterGolf replied to MoreBeerBetterGolf's post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI live in a rural area and we get lots of snow, plus I tow quite often. Can live without 4x4 but a 2wd drive truck in the winter is about as worthless as tits on a boar.

4x4 Junkie
MoreBeerBetterGolf posted a post in a topic in Out of Bounds: Lifestyle, Luxury, Autos, Hobbies, High Tech GearI know a bunch of you are sports car guys but I'm into big gas guzzling American 4x4 pickups with all the amenities of luxury cars. Picked up an FX4 twin turbo ecoboost today in a moment of weakness. Only option it doesn't have is TV in headrests. Also have an 11 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie with Cummins 6.7 diesel (pushing 600 HP and 1200 ft/lb torque at last dyno) didn't know if anyone else appreciated these kinda vehicles.

S-Yard t.388 vs Epon Zero (which to choose)
Idk but I looked at it on my phone and I swear I saw the ball speed numbers were all over the board on the zero. Looking at it now, obviously they're all the same. My fault. My premise was that highly variable ball speeds would be due to mis**ts.

S-Yard t.388 vs Epon Zero (which to choose)
Those two pieces of data pretty much sum up what most who have honestly reviewed the Zero have inferred. Great when struck properly, not good at all on misses. Apparently even small misses. Seems to be consistent with its marketing.

I fall in the middle of this and don't have a dog in either fight. I understand the sheer magnitude of MDs athletic prowess and the incredible power he generates. That said, even at borderline superhuman levels of power, the numbers are pushing the boundaries of physics without a proper delofting of the club, which I don't see happening in the video. I'm just not going to work myself up over what's likely a little bit of trackman hyperbole and I don't believe Rob is trying to passive brag either. Some people really do have athletic gifts that are almost unfathomable to those who haven't witnessed them in person. His other athletic exploits back up his claims in a large way and he has been compelled to defend himself by demonstrating them. Posting things like this opens the door to criticism and skepticism, and rightfully so, but the guy has every right to believe what a reputable fitter was telling/showing him. Therefore I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt, while also acknowledging a near certainty of distance exaggeration.

Geotech makes nice stuff. Kinda wish they had a cooler name because it just sounds cheap. But the gear is legit.

S-Yard t.388 vs Epon Zero (which to choose)
The S Yard has the highest resale to acquisition rate of a highly acclaimed product that I've ever seen on here.

In the old country, it's a custom for the father of the bride to bestow the groom with a set of limited edition Japanese blades as a dowry.

Squaring the club face, blades vs CB.
We are eerily similar Carlo.

Squaring the club face, blades vs CB.
My guess is he has a couple bad swinging days in a row come May and he curses the blades in favor of a big GI iron

sold! Thanks guys
Players spec start at like 99g and get heavier in the shorter clubs.

Syard t.388 vs others
I saved a scramble victory for my team with a R11S off the deck once. Everyone else hit and we got a safe one, so I got the driver out trying to clear a ravine. Wasn't sure if it got over or not but it did, about 8 feet or so and only a few yards from the green. Made an easy up and down for birdie versus a long 3rd shot into the green.
