  1. The Maxima reviews from everyone has the same theme - great carry, forgiving, but no roll. Seems like a lot of folks have tried almost all the shaft recommended and only two or three person has actually got the right combo that fits them. I'm beginning to feel that the marketing on this driver may not be correctly depicted. Unlike the SYard .388, everyone who's tried it definitely agrees that this driver rolls a lot. Somehow, I get the feeling that the Maxima may have been hyped up way too much. However, I will continue to test out different shafts and see if it truly lives up to what it's supposed to do and see if it was worth the $ or not.
  2. Looking to see if anyone would want to trade a CB46 6.7 for Quadra Fire Express Max WBQ in 65 Stiff. CB46 length is at 43 inches and plays 45 inches in my Maxima.
  3. Put Doyle up against Mjr Diahrea

What shaft did you have in your maxima now?
  5. Ill try a couple of different shafts and see if there are any improvements.
  6. I've played the Maxima type G (10.5) for a couple of rounds now with a Crazy CB 46 6.7 at 45 inches. I shot a 73 and 75 today and wanted to give my feedback on the Maxima. Whats great about this club is that it's definitely forgiving, straight, and the carry is much better. Whats not so great is that the distance and roll is just average. I didnt gain any yardage from then Maxima at all. At first I thought the ball flight was way too high and limited the roll. I lowered the ball flight by reducing the head weight from 200g to 195g. The ball flight is now more penetrating, but the roll is still limited. If your looking for distance, I don't think this is a real game changer. I've played the v-spec, premia, and tileist 910 d3 and the distance on these three drivers are the same as the Maxima. If you are looking for consistency and straight then this is an awesome driver.
  7. Duffer, what's your SS?
  8. I have the Crazy CB 46 6.7 in it the Maxima G (10.5) right now and it doesn't seem to get a lot of roll. Still searching for the right combo on for this head.
  9. I have the cb46 6.7 in it right now.
  10. Anyone try the graphite design Tour BB 6 stiff? I'm trying to lower the ball flight in the maxima. Looking for a boring mid penetrarting ball flight. Any input would be helpful.
  11. I agree the wedge looks great but like you said the graphics on the back is to loud. I prefer a cleaner look.
  12. Any comparison done with the New Ryoma fairway woods?
  13. Love that shaft but too rich for me. GLWS
  14. IMO, these are probably one of the best sets I've played with. Still have mine and plan to keep on playing with them. Just love the way they feel, soft but not too soft either.
  15. Interesting. I didn't know Club Fix was offering the shafts.

    Does the price include shipping?
  17. These are truly beautiful looking clubs. Anyone looking for a nice set of irons with some phenomenal shafts and at a discount, this is it. GLWS.
