  4. The 3 models seems to have different shaft profiles. How do we determine the kind of swing i.e. smooth, aggressive, hitter, early / late release........ in relation to the shaft profiles Are the 130 designed for strong players? Why strong mid section with softer tip & butt? Who will benefit from the 120 with soft butt & strong tip? Swinger or hitter? The new 125 seems to have stronger tip & butt similar to the 1150GH Tour, who will benefit from this? Which of this model will suit a early to mid release swing?

  8. That's interesting, I've always thought that the spinner is super stiff, one fitter told me that the spinner has 'no flex'. The spinner has a unique feel for me, couldn't explain why, the KBS Hi-rev has a more active tip. I've currently using the Nippon WV115 which plays softer than the typical wedge shaft TT S300, but I don't know why they made it 'counter balanced' with heavier butt. I've also tried Shimada NW110 which is more 'active' than the Nippon. Next, I'll be trying the WV105. I've tried the various wedge shafts with different wedge heads and mixed results, so I'm even more confused now.........
  9. Why 8 iron shaft for wedge (not PW or 9 iron shaft) shaft? Why do you want to play a softer flex for the wedges? Do you play a full shot with your wedges i.e. full shot for AW for a specific distance?
  10. So in general, does 'hitter' use soft butt / stiff tip and 'swinger' use stiff butt / soft tip? For the better players, both swing profiles can load the shaft pretty much the same, just different tempo. I hope I'm making sense. When do mid section stiffness comes in? Some shaft are designed to have soft tip & butt with stiffer mid section, some even stiff tip & butt with softer mid section??
  11. Do you still get fitted by CPM (butt stiffness) these days? Miyazaki shafts are measured by on 4 sections for stiffness on the tip, mid tip, mid butt & butt, most shafts today are measured on 3 sections. How do you really get fitted by tip soft / butt stiff, tip stiff / butt soft, then add mid section stiffness..? I've yet to receive any clear explanation from any fitters, not to mention 4 sections shaft profile like the Miyazaki. Most fitters still track your swing speed & co-relate to butt CPM, make visual assessment of your swing prior to selection of tip & mid section stiffness (probably check launch angle) Anybody has a clear insight for modern shaft selection?
