  1. Absolutely. Mitsu certainly has a high quality product and time wil tell if it catches on here.
  2. Yo bro, 15 or 1500 made, who knows and who cares? First of all anyone who would spend $500 sight unseen :money: for a untested shaft has more than a few screws loose IMHFO. I mean it is supposed to be made for Sergio which makes it a bad choice for 99.99999999% of the golfing public. And TM is dumping excess to resellers? WTF? Why? I guess nobody on tour needs or wants it. Check the shaft counts man. Fuji and GD own the business. I think even UST is ahead of Mitsubishi. Don't get me wrong Mitsu makes a very nice product but you can get 2 Fujis installed from a authorized dealer for $500. Get properly fit and get a full warranty. Maybe a nice zcom tw74. JC, You are making me slip off the chair bro! LMAO!!! :surprize: I can see that you really like that TW74 ha, Good call on that one ! Joe  Joey, Thanks man. you know I was intent on getting that tw74 well before Fuji was ready to sell them in the USA. VERY nice and I appreciate it. JC
  3. Mitsubishi is just hitting the US market this year and already has 5 of the top 8 in the world using their shaft. Don't speak too soon. I remember when Fuji did this to other brands. Whatever bro. I never said Mitsubishi did not make a fine product. You must be a diamana dealer  Anyhow, it seems like most of the mitsubishi tour usage comes from shafts that are not available to the general public with the exception of Tiger's 93x. 1. Singh 11.93 Shaqx 2. Woods 11.57 Diamana 93x 3. Els 10.70 4. Mickelson 8.36 5. Goosen 6.90 85 MT x 6. Garcia 5.29 El nino ? No idea. Allthough I think most if not all his wins were with steel 7. Scott 5.08 8. Harrington 5.06 9. Weir 4.88 10. Love-III 4.66

  8. R7 Shallow TP tours are 200 head only if you buy 200 pieces from the Chinese Taylormade Factory. R7 Tour T##### are only 150.00 at a minimum order of 200 pieces also, Tour V-Steel 100.00 each if you buy 150 heads, R7 TP stand bags 150.00 if you buy 50 or more. The Majority of late model TM Tour woods are non authorized aka fake IMO. I'm sure many many of you have them in the bag also. Do you guys know the factory also sells the retail defects with pimples and small imperfections? R7 TP 150.00 & R7 HT 150.00 heads only. authentic just not authorized by TM no Tour head comes un shafted or in shrink wrap... Tour heads are not sold or given in bulk and if they are they are fake. I hope they are all in Tokyo for this month's fair, I'm betting they don't want to answer questions about the China factory again. Kudos to Callaway they admitted they had a problem in China and also talked with me about their remedy last year. So you are saying that the TM China production facility is selling stolen tour heads on the black market or counterfeit heads? I do know that TM employees get a very nice break on clubs at the TM factory store in CA and there certainly are some tour clubs available there as well
  9. The truth will set you free
  10. I thought I would throw this out to the membership. Been hearing lots of stories lately and getting lots of questions regarding how to authenticate TM tour irons (both 300 forged and all the various rac sets) Here is my open offer to anyone who would like help. I have owned all of these sets at one time and I still own just about every tour set you could think of. I will gladly tell your if you Lehmans are the genuine article or any other 300 or rac set.(TL2mm, 2mm, +2mm, ns, NS etc) I know what all the original stamps look like as well as all the original finishes. If you suspect foul play or just really want to know what you have I will be happy to help you figure it out NO CHARGE. Pics are OK for some things but in many cases I'll need to actually see the clubs in person. I've spent way too much time and money lerning about this stuff and I figure others might benefit from the knowledge. Thanks and take care JC

Very confusing. Mizuno makes some awesome irons. I saw these on ebay and I passed because I did not know enough to authenticate them as legit tour. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...ssPageName=WDVW That price seems LOW if those irons are genuine Mizuno tour issues.
  12. champx2 replied to champx2's post in a topic in Japanese Golf Clubs
I guess I should have been more specific. The set in question is from a US tour player. The info on Japan tour sets is very informative as well.

I recently picked up a set of mp-37 from a tour player. Not being a Mizuno expert by any stretch, I cannot find any distinguishing marks on these nor would I even know what to look for. Is there any way to distinguish between a tour set versus a retail set? Any help would be appreciated Thanks in advance JC

    updated and pics added
  19. Black rac mb are for sure more rare that a std tour issued rac mb. I owned a set and I thought the irons were excellent. 2 big issues for me hence the reason I no longer own them. 1) finish wear. these irons are friggin stunning. Almost too nice to use. Once I saw that mine were going to look like hell if I played them much, I decided to move on 2) I was advised that the gun blueing or oxidizing makes the carbon steel more brittle and susceptable to breakage during lie adjustment. No idea if that is fact or fiction but I ended up selling my set to a guy who had some of his black rac mb break at the hosels. Not good. I know for a fact Cleveland does not like to bend any gun blue wedges. I used to get my stuff directly from the tour dept and they recommended a maximum of 1-1.5 degree adjustment and only one time. I suppose TM could be similar. I would suspect that could be one of the reasons why these did not get played on tour? Bottom line is the black are a super nice set as long as you understand what you are getting. Hard to beat a nice Miura TM blade if you have the game for it.
  20. It's a real shame that there is so much negativity around the boards re Todd and BSG. Big waste of time. Hey if you don't like the guy then don't buy from him but don't blast a perfectly good product by association. I'm telling you the y cutters are really effective, especially on partial shots and the little shots around the green. And that statement begrudgingly comes from a guy who does not particularly like TM rac wedges.
  21. All Todd bashing aside, I would offer another opinion on the y-cutters. Not that I am any authority but I did run a pretty extensive and fair as possible test on the racs. The Y-grooves do impart quite a bit more spin than retail. If you want a super high spin wedge then it might be worth the investment. If I was a TM wedge fan I would opt for the y groove at least on my LW. The BLACK stainless y cutters are very nice. I have played Clevelands and Vokeys for a long time and but if I was a RAC fan I would take a hard look a them.
  22. supposedly the np-99 has a lower center of gravity

OK here you go. Holiday gifting is over so time to get something for yourself. No pics on anything but I guarantee condition and authenticity. 1) TM ss proto black 60 y cutter. Based on what I have read this is one of the most rare and desireable TM wedges. It has it all. Proto, 304 stainless steel and the y stamp on the face. It is also remarkably similar to my Cleveland 588 lw in terms of shape and sole. Friggin AWESOME wedge in outstanding condition. S400 shaft. I think these sold on the boards recently for as much as $599. asking price is $450 2) Black Fe2o3 56.12 y cutter. Has y stamp on face. s400 and new condition. I don't think this has ever been used. $250 which I believe is well below current market based on ebay selling prices 3) Stainless 56.14 y cutter. 2 dots and 15 grooves. Very rare from what I understand. Outstanding condition. Face and grooves look brand new. $250. Unshafted 304 ss heads have been selling for as much as $285 so this one should go quick. Blurry but 2 dots are present 4)Cleveland Satin tour TG 54. New. $175 SOLD 5) Vokey satin tour tc 260.12 MINT $200(has initials stamped on it) 6) Ping original square groove eye 2 BeCu LW black dot in outstanding condition. $225 7)52 Rac BLACK stainless y cutter in next to new condition. s400. $275 SOLD No trades please.
