Finally got my bag complete for in my before mid-year. Been a lot of hit and misses, some stayed, some went. Still have a backup driver, irons and putter, but mainly this past period been playing this bag. Pics took at night, so lighting was not the greatest. Im dying to try both drivers you mentioned there as well. When i get back home later this week will probably give the tw 455s a shot. A new golfer friend got a 460 in armrq 'spaghetti' flex, and hitting it at least 10 yards further than his older rapture

that sounds like must try ball. Wonder if they have these here in bkk..

i tried the B330S once, I called it 'Mr. Spin-a-roo-nee'! B330 much different than the S version. Tempted to also try the RX versions as well

best jdm ball i've used is the tourstage x-01. Still, i think its a bit too spinny for me.. pro v1 was better for me. Then i went z-star :)

would like to try the new chrome soft as well... hope the extremely low compression does not compromise ball speed though

Since we are most willing to shell out $$$ for a lot of niceties in the jdm world, I was hoping to know which balls are being used around here and why? Are you using cheapies, used balls or jdm only? I tried the phyz and brill balls before, never really my preference. My normal gamers are the z-star xv by the way, after a long time pro v1x user.

i have the 455 and also tried the 460. Completely different feel. 455 was endo forged, i dont know about 460. 455 just felt more solid and crisp at the same time. 460 felt more hollowy imo

Just a quick update after a few range sessions and rounds under my belt: From the results, this thing is killer long on 'PURE' hits.. BUT, it is not as forgiving as I thought. Yesterday I hit various drives where i thought i made OK contact, (it wasn't pured, that's all i can say), and it really fell short of my norm. On anything but on center strikes, ball speed drastically decreases, don't know if this is the same for all other 'player' Crazy drivers. Shaft held up well, just have to make a concerted effort to 'go hard' at the ball. My Honma 717 455 would've been at least 10 yards further on these off center shots... Makes me realize the lack of fitness i have and how much i have to work on this 'Jekyll and Hyde driver' :(

hey hutchy, in the end going with the trpx ut7 in R flex. Should give me the easy launch. Im still having second thoughts on the glorious 3w shaft (im getting the head next week). Spweder fw, fubuki, even quadra d-type seems nice.

i have the rm12 in 50/54/58. I also use the SM5's if you are familiar. To give a fair comparison, the fourteens are not better than the SM5 in my opinion, and SM5 is not better than the fourteens. If you prefer firm, the SM5 is great, but the fourteens are way softer on full swings (and are forged). From the sand, i prefer SM5, from the bunkers, i prefer fourteens. I dont know how they do it, but the shape of the RM12 makes it so dead easy to get out of the rough for chips and pitches. Turf interaction from the fairway, though, i think the SM5 is better. My PW is 45-47*, by the way, depending on which set i am using. but my lofts on my wedge combo stays the same; I'm so used to them and never played anything higher than 58.

Hi all, expecting to grab a Jbeam Glorious 3W, and most likely combo with the Diamana B60 (tipped of course). My next setup would be a hybrid 21-22*, maybe would be the A-Grind. You have any suggestions for this? Looking for a high and 'easy-up' shaft. Was thinking of the TRPX UT-7 (with R flex, playing at 40"). Never really considered aftermarket hybrid shafts before, since i dont use hybrids as much.. Any good suggestions??

hey Chris, whats your SS and tempo? Hard to imagine that combo working as 50 odd grams sounds very light. Unless you are 90 lbs and 5 ft tall, which i think you are not! sounds like an awesome shaft though this one

if u have 100+ ss, try the jbeam/crazy 435. or the version 2. more people prefer the original though, but i like the v2. looks more bad-ass :) 435 blackout also worth a shout. i have mine in crazy tj-46 hk and its beasty

thanks for the feedback of the shafts! I was generally thinking of these in my next build (for P2's). Was thinking of these, the Modus 3 120, Shimada Tour or Tour Lite (to the extreme maybe a Design Tuning X100). I used to have the 1150GH for Epon 301's, and found that the flight was nice, but distance was a bit lacking. Also, the shaft felt taut to me (different from some other peoples' opinions i found). Do you find the heavy weight of the 125 an issue?

Yeah, they are beautiful aren't they? I've made a deal with a fellow TSG'er.. Expecting to have them arrive next week :) Gonna have them as my 'pro' back up set. When i feel like i have my A game on, i'll use them! When i am off (most of the time recently), the Onoffs will be my trusties!
