Got it, thanks Nob and haha for the explanation - I thought that's what it means as well, tho I thought there is a hosel size issue as well? i.e. .335 vs .350 at the driver's hosel? As the shaft move from tip end to butt end, the diameter grows as well? I guess the manufacturer leaves 2-3 inches of the tip the same size?

I recently did it with my TRPX messenger shaft. Frankly haven't had enough time with it to tell how it performs. Can someone pls enlighten me on what does "tipping" mean? Might help with the next club build.. Thx.

Up for sale is a pair of Miura MG wedges, heads only (got them from TSG) and a Ryoma F3 wood, head only (got it from a long time member here). 1. Miura MG series MB-5000WC. Details are on the miura giken website. Used but in good shape, I say 8.5-9 out of 10. Refer to pics below for details. $220 $200 for the pair + shipping, net to me. 2. Ryoma F3 wood (15*), head only. It's heavily used with ball marks on the face, pls refer to pictures below for details. Priced accordingly (I believe) $200 + shipping, net to me.
