Thanks to Spoon and his high pressure sales tactics, I'm now in the same boat. I have a set of Modus 120s in the garage but because of my elbow I need a graphite set. Love my Roddio but don't want to pull. Also, the Roddio are a tad soft but I don't really want to go to X. Any suggestions?

If you hit it well I wouldn't change for the sake of change. It's more about finding the flex profile to fit your swing than the latest tech, IMO.

If you cannot find wedge shafts, I use 8 iron shafts of Roddio i10 in my wedges

Bought the TPRX and went back to Crazy. The TRPX just wasnt as tight for me in the same flex. Want to try the Basileus but hit the Crazy so well, no need to change except for change's sake.

I have never liked the GD shafts in any club and I'm done with it in my UT - they have never fit my swing. However, eyeballing it, it looks like a 0.370. Can't find confirmation on that. However, I was thinking of putting a Crazy FW into it, but there is no way I want to shim it. Anyone have any good suggestions on a replacement with a 0.370?

The ZY 9* and Basi AAA x is a combo that is perfect for me. I am killing the ball. However, conditions here are really firm, soggy fairways would be death.

When I was playing a draw I loved the AD-UT. Made swing changes and now hate this shaft. I have the Crazy Longest Yard FW in my Ryoma 3wd and love it. Looking for something that plays similarly for the UT.

Anyone have any input as to which Basileus FW shaft will have characteristics similar to the 2015 AAA? I can't decipher the chart that they have published. Thanks.

Just put the Zy-11/AAA combo together and took it to the range at lunch for the first time. What an amazing combo. It was tough to tell distance the way the range was set up and the position of the sun. I was carrying the 270 flag but couldn't tell by how much. It certainly wasn't any shorter than my current set up with the 435. I'll get on the course with it tomorrow and on Trackman next week. But WOW, every shot was a laser. The flight is so much lower that it took me about 10 balls to adjust tee height and ball positioning. But once I did, every shot was on a line. I absolutely love the sound.

9.5* jBeam 435 - Crazy LaBomba Tour Black I have a jBeam ZY-11 getting shafted with a Basileus AAA today and will be in the bag tomorrow. Both heads and both shafts were purchased here on BST.

It's definitely less clicky which is what I was going for. I was a bit worried it would be mushy but it's not at all. I'm very pleased with how it came out.

My favorite creation is my Scotty Buttonback that I sent to BOS. I bought a used Button Back, a black shaft, blue weights and shipped it all to BOS. They did the black polymer on the putter, swapped out the insert for a copper insert, dark blue paintfill, cut the shaft. I'm quite pleased with the results. Not exactly a custom putter, but it was a fun project and it's definitely unique. After 9 months the copper insert is really nicely patina'd and the polymer is still perfect.

Those are amazing looking. And yet I'm still transfixed by that Epon bag...
