I own a Yamaha v14, pair with crazy fw80 8.2 flex(thx to stew), will not leave the bag! Thats the 1st time i have a club stay in the bag and never think of swap it out with other club(1st time in 6 yrs i have been playing golf)Also have the RC 304p, only use the 5 wood (this one will be the same, will not leave the bag),3 wood still sitting in the back up bag.....I didn't even bother check out the other FW when I walk in to a golf store....... Was thinking about the jbeam FW but i don't see how any FW can out perform what I have.

Would be excellent if they offer as epin driver/FW STOCK shafts without up charge! But I don't think that would happen..... :( I am just day dreaming....

So last week i was playing my friends home course, the bag bag boy didnt tie my golf bag on the cart properly, after 3 holes, my bag felt on the floor and my jbeam driver, scotty cameron putter and my yamaha 3 wood were drag on the concrete floor.... The scratches was pretty bad, so i am interested in getting a new driver. Been looking into crz460, epon 102, Crz435ll, kamui 420 and possibly ryoma vspec.... My SS is around 115-120. Don't know which one would be better suit..... Need help!

I see what you mean. The way I look at it, maybe the last driver didn't fit the user? Too stiff/soft, loft too low /high, spin too high/ low..... Too many factors. I seen few of my friends gain some 15-20 yards just by switching shafts, head or the whole thing. Will not be surprise if they gain more with some of the JDM driver mention here. Most of the mass production driver has +- 2*-3* of stated loft! I remember few years back, I bought a driver head stated 8.5*, but measured @ 11*!! I wonder what they were doing during the production and question their QC. never bought that brand again. Back to topic, gaining 20+ yards is possible!

3-6 af 302, 7-pw af tour, didn't adjust the loft. Like the traditional loft on those af tour. Those shimada shafts in them are perfect match FOR ME!

U have to hit them to feel and appreciate how good they are.I have mine in combo with shimada k's tour. Best head shaft combo I have ever hit! have a set of ns pro dp proto in yururi flat back, waiting for rain to stop, course re-open to test the yururi dp proto combo.

Iron like -- epon 901, Easy and long! FW like-- yamaha D UT , the only one I can hit. Have it with crazy UT shaft, don't think will search other rescue club!

What about combo set? That's what I m using right now, I have shimada k's tour shaft in them, I don't think I lose as much distance as DG shaft into wind. I am also a very high ball hitter. I actually like the traditional loft on those af tour,but if you are thinking of using 50* wedge, I would suggest get the 302 or bent the af tour 2* stronger.

Currently playing one with crazy FW 80 8.2, Best 3 wood I played!very very easy Off the tee or fairway. Will stay in the bag for long long time for sure!

Wouldnt tipped 1.5 inch make the shaft 1 flex stiffer? Would it be 7.7 in flex? Or more like a 7.2 ? It would be a very good 3 wood shaft!

Getting right shaft is the key!why don't you put the same shaft as your g20 in the crazy head? Probably easier to pull it and install in the crz460 head. Just a thought.
