  4. Also several new lofts in the UT! No confirmation on new FW yet but all signs point to yes. Ryoma is never at the show but we visit their HQ later in the week.
  5. Cool, NSpro will be there so I will see what they got that's new, if there is nothing new I won't have much for you. Yururi, I'm spending a couple days at a Ryokan in Kobe with Miyoshi-san and his wife for R&R at the end of our trip, so if there is nothing new product wise I can post pics of the food...lol
  6. It's that time of year again! in 3 days TSG is back at it covering the Japan Golf Fair at Tokyo Big Site. Wanted to ask you guys if you have any special requests... Of course we will be covering everything worth mentioning from the show but anything else while we are in Japan? Doing the normal factory rounds in Himeji so if you have any specific questions that you would like us to ask do tell.
  7. I can't say that it is best in distance, it's the blend of all things but ball speeds "i'm told" are slightly higher, ( I can't prove that) before a few brands used it and their gripe was it's price but material costs have gone way down and it's being adopted more and more. DAT55 is a Japanese made material I personally can't say it's longer but I like the feel and sound of just about every DAT driver I have hit.
  8. There is no best, it's the combined effect of all parts together and the design matched with the shaft and the players swing. Endo is ELF & KS-100 but oddly Endo drivers are not the best when it comes to distance hence why makers have moved overseas as Endo quickly tries to create harder face materials. Right now the trend is DAT55G for distance and Forged Cup faces for feel. What makes a driver hollow is design first then material.
  9. They are both based on the same head to start with it's just this new one I was told would appeal more to the "professional type" player.
  10. Like the MB and the Toyoshima wedges these trickle out and are hard to get. It takes 3 weeks from the time of order for Toyoshima to handmake them. They are S25C forged in Himeji. The Crazy CB-104 was developed based on the CCB-104 wedge. I got to hit it for the first time today and it reminded me of the CRZ Proto iron they made but more player all around, feels really good even with the undercut. Nice semi thick top line with minimal offset. 3-9 has a small undercut while the PW does not. email me if you like it.
  11. Strong Trajectory + Low Spin are the characteristics of the new Mitsubishi Bassara GG shaft aka Gargoyle Series. Mitsubishi claims that with the evolution of driver head design a new shaft to maximize performance in low cg driver heads was necessary and for big distance light weight was one way to get there, yet they needed to maintain stability and a tight dispersion so the implemented a titanium composite into the tip section for more stability helping the shaft return to it's original shape faster. Mitsubishi also says compared to the standard light weight shaft in the same head and specs you should see a 4-5yd distance increase. Three weight ranges available 33/43/54 while 43/53 are shipping in April the 33 has a May release date.
  12. Yamada-san is doing this to feed his kids, he really doesn't want to work anymore but the boys need food. So sometimes they are done and other times they are not.

  15. Almost gone and they are not even released yet. It's 900 Shipped Yes they are expensive. 500pcs made. No exact release date but I assume in March. Just saying as I know 3 months from now I'll be getting a ton of people asking for these and will have to say they sold out before release.
  16. I think we might take a couple of photos at least...;)
  17. Absolutely you can.
  18. Here's an interesting one, I sent in my personal set of Tataki's for a refinish + non conforming grooves and only after it came back realized that if these wedges are not hand polished smooth first the plating comes out blotchy or almost pitted looking. have a look: Oh well, I'm gonna beat these up, love them anyway.
  19. Got a bunch of PMs. Those will be answered last I'm sorry I requested email to [email protected]

  21. This is a Cayman!?? GT4 Cayman vs GT3 991 I know I would take a 991 any day over a cayman but visually and proportionally I think this GT4 has it beat! There is a reason why Porsche didn't put manual in the GT3 and did put Manual in the Cayman GT4 is because if they swapped transmissions performance would be awefully close with the GT4 coming in at over 50k less and with a few simple mods topping Porsches flag ship beast.
  22. Very different in all areas, 358 is still high launching yet it has much lower spin meaning it takes power to harness it's full affect. Glorious got a great spin rate for mid cappers, it's a lot easier to hit than this 358 and just a pleasure all around. 358 is more forgiving than most pro level or tour model clubs as Shingo likes but still best for a player who understands how to manipulate the swing to hit cuts and draws as its got a rare quality it's fully neutral, large size 460cc yet pretty easy to work ( depending on shaft ).
